Colts K Adam Vinatieri is participating fully in the team's OTAs this week.  A knee injury kept the 14-year veteran out of last year's playoffs, but it sounds like he's back to 100%.  On this offense, he's an elite fantasy option when healthy.  But we can't call a 37-year-old kicker recovering from a bum knee a safe pick.

Colts K Adam Vinatieri will undergo surgery on his injured knee and be placed on IR, ESPN's Adam Schefter reports. This could be the end of the line for the 46-year-old, who's missed 8 FGs and 6 XPs this season. Chase McLaughlin will continue kicking for the Colts.

Vinatieri seemed to suggest that he was planning to retire after missing his 2nd and 3rd XPs of the season in Sunday's win over the Titans. We'll see if he can turn it around, but Vinatieri shouldn't be in Week 3 fantasy lineups.
