Saints WR Willie Snead will be a game-time decision for Monday night's contest against the Falcons. He didn't practice all week but told reporters Saturday that he's "hopeful" that he'll be able to play. The late kickoff obviously puts fantasy owners in a tough spot, though. Unless you have a replacement from that game -- ideally Michael Thomas -- Snead probably needs to be on your bench for Week 3.

Recent Shark Bites

The Ravens have signed WR Willie Snead to a 2-year, $7 million deal that could climb to $10.4 million via incentives. The Saints had the option to match the offer but declined. Snead fell out of favor in New Orleans last year but tallied 141 catches for 1,879 yards across 2015 and 2016. He'll turn just 26 in October, putting him in the prime of his career. Snead joins a remade Ravens WR corps that also features Michael Crabtree and Brown. Snead and Brown figure to battle for the 2nd spot on the totem pole.

Saints WR Willie Snead (hamstring) isn’t listed on the final Week 8 injury report and will play against the Bears on Sunday. He got just 21 snaps and 3 targets in his lone appearance this season and can’t be trusted in fantasy lineups right now.

Saints WR Willie Snead (hamstring) is officially inactive for today's game against the Packers. His absence makes WR Ted Ginn a more attractive fantasy play in a plus matchup.

ESPN's Dianna Russini reports that Saints WR Willie Snead (hamstring) will be inactive for today's game against the Packers. Snead made his debut last week and put in 3 limited practices this week, but he evidently suffered a setback at some point. We'll look for updates on his status. Michael Thomas, Ted Ginn and Brandon Coleman will serve as New Orleans' top 3 WRs today.

Saints HC Sean Payton said Wednesday that WR Willie Snead is over his hamstring injury and ready for this weekend's game against the Lions. Snead served a 3-game suspension to open the season and then missed the Dolphins game in London before a Week 5 bye. We're expecting him to step back into a role similar to the one that's propelled him to top 35 PPR finishes both of the past 2 seasons. Snead is worth firing up as a WR3 -- albeit with some risk -- in Week 6 lineups.
