Bills DE Jerry Hughes is "day to day" with a shin injury that knocked him out of Sunday's loss to the Saints, HC Sean McDermott told reporters Sunday. It doesn't sound serious, so Hughes might be ready to play against the Chargers this Sunday. But he hasn't given IDP owners much in a while, so there's little reason to wait for him and/or take on any added risk.
Bills DE Jerry Hughes (groin) is active for today's game against the Dolphins. He reportedly tweaked an existing groin issue in practice this week but still carries big sack upside into the matchup with Miami. Hughes is worth a shot in IDP lineups in most cases where you're considering him.
Bills DE Jerry Hughes is questionable for Sunday's game against the Dolphins. He left Thursday's practice early with a groin injury that then kept him out Friday. "He's day to day," HC Sean McDermott said Friday, according to the team website. "He's had a little bit of (a groin issue) before, but it kind of flared up." We'll check Hughes' status Sunday morning.

Bills DE Jerry Hughes (shin, calf) is questionable for Sunday's game against the Chargers. He returned to limited practices the past 2 days after sitting out Wednesday. He has been a poor IDP producer for weeks now, though, and isn't worth waiting on -- especially for a negative matchup.
Bills edge rusher Jerry Hughes will be moving back to a primarily OLB role in 2016 as Buffalo plans to play a truer 3-4 front, according to the team website. That's not surprising, given Rex Ryan's history of favoring such a system. He likely leaned 4-3 in 2015 to leverage a defensive roster that better fit that formation. Hughes underwhelmed as a 3-4 OLB in Indy after arriving as a 1st-round pick, but we'd bet on Ryan being able to put him in position to make plays -- as well as Hughes having grown in general since those days. The more important factor for IDP owners will be whether Hughes switches to a LB designation for 2016. That would lower his fantasy football value, though his double-digit sack potential will keep him relevant either way.
