Packers WR Randall Cobb (concussion) is listed as doubtful for Week 16. He didn’t practice all week and won’t play against the Jets on Sunday. That’ll leave Marquez Valdes-Scantling and Equanimeous St. Brown as Green Bay’s #2 and #3 WRs. The rookies are both just fantasy fliers.
Cowboys Randall Cobb (hip, back) is inactive for today’s game against the Jets. His absence opens up a few extra looks for Amari Cooper, Michael Gallup and Jason Witten.
Cowboys Randall Cobb (hip, back) is questionable for this weekend’s game against the Jets. After putting in a full workout on Wednesday, he didn’t practice at all on Thursday or Friday. Cobb is averaging 5.4 targets per game, so his absence would open up a few extra looks for Amari Cooper, Michael Gallup and Jason Witten.
The Cowboys have signed WR Randall Cobb to a 1-year, $5 million deal. Since his 1,287-yard 2014 campaign, Cobb has averaged just 46.7 yards per game and missed 11 contests over the past 4 seasons. Turning 29 in August, his best days are clearly behind him. Cobb figures to step into Cole Beasley's slot role in Dallas. Beasley averaged 80.8 targets across the last 4 years -- a fair projection for Cobb in 2019. He figures to struggle for more than WR4 value.
Packers WR Randall Cobb has cleared the concussion protocol, ESPN's Rob Demovsky reports. Barring a setback, Cobb will return for Sunday's finale. He figures to step back in as the primary slot receiver vs. a Lions defense that's allowed the 7th most PPR points to slot guys.
Packers WR Randall Cobb (concussion) is inactive for today’s game against the Jets. Look for Marquez Valdes-Scantling to step into Cobb’s slot role, with Equanimeous St. Brown remaining on the outside opposite Davante Adams. The rookies are just DFS fliers.
