WR Phillip Dorsett has re-signed with the Patriots on a 1-year deal. The former 1st-rounder evolved into a short-range target in New England last season, hauling in 76.2% of his targets but averaging just 9.1 yards per catch. He has a shot to take on a bigger role in 2019 with Chris Hogan a free agent and Cordarrelle Patterson off to Chicago. But we'd bet on the Pats making some additions to their WR room.
Patriots WR Phillip Dorsett (knee) was limited in practice all week and is questionable for this weekend’s game against the Texans. He’s not a fantasy option with Danny Amendola expected back.
Patriots WR Phillip Dorsett injured his knee in the 2nd half of Sunday's game against the Saints. He's officially questionable to return, but we doubt we see him back out there with New England nursing a big lead. We'll see what kind of update we get from the team after the game.
The Colts on Saturday traded disappointing WR Phillip Dorsett to the Patriots for 3rd-string QB Jacoby Brissett. Dorsett caught just 51 passes through 2 seasons in Indy after arriving as a late 1st-round pick. Brissett just finished throwing 4 TD passes in New England's preseason finale. The move could signal significant worry that QB Andrew Luck will miss multiple games as he works back from offseason shoulder surgery. Dorsett's a poor bet to make a fantasy impact in 2017, though he could see some early targets if WR Malcolm Mitchell remains hobbled.
Colts WR Phillip Dorsett (hamstring) is not on the final Week 8 injury report after putting in full practices on Thursday and Friday. He's set to return for this weekend's game against the Chiefs but will do so as the #3 WR behind T.Y. Hilton and Donte Moncrief.
Colts WR Phillip Dorsett (foot, hamstring) returned to a limited practice on Wednesday -- his 1st since going down in Week 6. It gives him a shot to play against the Chiefs this weekend, but it might be as the #3 WR with WR Donte Moncrief expected back. The real winner here is QB Andrew Luck, who might have his WR corps at full strength for the 1st time since Week 2.
