Bills WR Gabriel Davis (ankle) is listed as questionable for this weekend's AFC Championship vs. the Chiefs. The rookie only got in a limited practice on Friday and will be at less than 100% if he suits up. Davis' absence would open up more snaps for WR Isaiah McKenzie and/or TE Dawson Knox.
Bills WR Gabriel Davis (ankle) missed his 2nd straight practice on Thursday. The rookie seems to be in danger of missing this weekend's AFC Championship. Even operating as Buffalo's #4 WR, Davis has seen 8 targets over the past 2 weeks. We'll get another update on his status tomorrow.
The Bills added Central Florida WR Gabriel Davis in the 4th round of the 2020 NFL Draft. Davis was a downfield dynamo last year, averaging 17.2 yards per catch and ranking 4th among all draft-eligible WRs in receptions (16) and yards (620) on targets 20+ yards downfield. There’s not much else to Davis’ game right now — but he just turned 21 earlier this month and goes 6’2, 216 pounds. He’s an intriguing project for the Bills and could eventually replace John Brown, who’s 30 and signed through 2021.
