Commanders QB Marcus Mariota (right hand, quad) did not practice on Wednesday. HC Dan Quinn called him a "long shot" to play vs. the Eagles this weekend. It'll be QB Josh Johnson back under center for that one. He managed just 198 scoreless passing yards against a bad Dallas defense last week.

Dolphins WR Jaylen Waddle (ribs) did not practice on Wednesday. He played very little in the second half of last week's game vs. the Buccaneers and is uncertain for Sunday's finale vs. the Patriots. We'll update Waddle's status again tomorrow.

Dolphins RB De'Von Achane (shoulder) did not practice on Wednesday. We don't have any other info on the shoulder issue, but Achane could be held out of this weekend's game vs. the Patriots with Miami having nothing to play for. We'll keep you updated on his status. Achane's absence would leave the backfield to Jaylen Wright and Ollie Gordon.

Rams WR Davante Adams (hamstring) remained sidelined for Wednesday's practice. Don't expect to see him out there vs. the Cardinals this weekend. We'll see if Adams can make it back for the playoff opener.

Rams RB Blake Corum (ankle) did not practice on Wednesday. He never returned to Monday night's game vs. the Falcons after going down in the second quarter. With Los Angeles having little to play for vs. the Cardinals this weekend, don't expect Corum to play. We'll see about the offense's other key pieces.

Chargers RB Omarion Hampton (ankle) did not practice on Wednesday. The rookie seemed to make it out of last week's loss to the Texans ok. But HC Jim Harbaugh already announced that QB Justin Herbert won't play in Sunday's game vs. the Broncos, and it wouldn't be surprising if Hampton was also held out. RBs Kimani Vidal (neck) and Hassan Haskins (concussion) were limited on Wednesday.

Bears WRs Luther Burden (quad) and Rome Odunze (foot) got in limited practices on Wednesday. “We’ll see how this week goes," HC Ben Johnson said of Odunze's status for Sunday's game vs. the Lions. And on Burden: “We’re hopeful that he’ll be just fine this week.” We'll keep you updated on both guys over the next few days.

Lions WR Amon-Ra St. Brown (knee, ankle) did not practice on Wednesday. We don't suspect that either issue is serious, but St. Brown isn't a lock to play in this weekend's meaningless finale vs. the Bears. We'll update his status again tomorrow.

Lions HC Dan Campbell gave a semi-optimistic update Wednesday on TE Sam LaPorta, who underwent back surgery in mid-November. "Yeah, he's getting better," Campbell said. "It wouldn't have been one of those things where you get in the playoffs. Did he have a chance to play? No, it wouldn't be that. But I feel like next year, that certainly isn't off the table early in the year. You'd like to believe training camp we'll get him. But you're talking about a back. And he's improving, but yet, he's not completely healed. ... Certainly, it feels better after the surgery than he did right before, so that's a positive. Took a lot of stress off that nerve, so we'll see." LaPorta's rehab will be one of the bigger storylines of the offseason. He was sitting ninth among TEs in PPR points per game through Week 10. He'll be worth a shot in early best-ball drafts if he's going in that late-TE1 territory. But we wouldn't be rushing out to acquire LaPorta in dynasty right now. The back issue likely adds short- and long-term health risk to his profile.

Bills QB Josh Allen (foot) did not practice on Wednesday. HC Sean McDermott said that Allen is "moving in the right direction" but that they want to see how the rest of the week goes. We're expecting Allen to start Sunday's game vs. the Jets to push his consecutive starts streak to 127 games, but he probably wont play much beyond that. QB Mitchell Trubisky figures to play most of the game.

Jets RBs Breece Hall (knee) and Isaiah Davis (concussion) did not practice on Wednesday. That leaves Davis unlikely to play vs. the Bills this weekend. We'll see about Hall. Khalil Herbert and Kene Nwangwu are the other RBs on New York's roster. RB Raheem Blackshear is on the practice squad.

Cowboys TE Jake Ferguson (calf) did not practice on Wednesday. He seems more likely than not to miss this weekend's meaningless finale vs. the Giants. Ferguson's absence would leave Dallas' TE room to Luke Schoonmaker and Brevyn Spann-Ford.

Cowboys RBs Javonte Williams (shoulder) and Malik Davis (calf, eye) missed Wednesday's practice. Williams never returned to last week's win over the Commanders, while Davis finished out the game as lead back. We'll see how both guys progress over the next couple days. Their absences vs. the Giants on Sunday would leave Dallas' backfield to some combination of Hunter Luepke, Phil Mafah, and Jaydon Blue.

Vikings QB J.J. McCarthy (right hand) got in a limited practice on Wednesday. We'll see if he can make it back for this weekend's finale vs. the Packers, who are expected to rest some starters. McCarthy would be in play in superflex leagues and daily tournaments.

Vikings RB Aaron Jones (hip) did not practice on Wednesday. He played through an ankle issue last week, but this hip is new. We'll see if the 31-year-old suits up for Sunday's finale vs. the Packers. RB Jordan Mason (ankle) got in a limited practice on Wednesday, giving him a chance to make it back for this weekend. If both Jones and Mason miss, RB Ty Chandler would be the favorite for lead duties.

Browns TE Harold Fannin (groin) did not practice on Wednesday. He's unlikely to play vs. the Bengals this weekend after hurting his groin in last Friday's practice and then aggravating the issue in the win over the Steelers. TE David Njoku (knee) also remained sidelined on Wednesday. Cleveland will likely be rolling with TEs Sal Cannella, Blake Whiteheart, and Brenden Bates this weekend.

Ravens QB Lamar Jackson (back) was a full participant in Wednesday's practice. “He looked good,” HC John Harbaugh said afterward. Jackson is on track to play in Sunday night's must-win game vs. the Steelers, although it's still fair to question how close he'll be to 100%. We'll keep tabs on his status over the next few days.

Panthers RB Rico Dowdle (toe) returned to a full practice on Wednesday. He'll be ready for lead duties in this weekend's game vs. the Buccaneers. Tampa Bay held Dowdle to 43 scoreless yards in their Week 16 meeting.

Cardinals WR Marvin Harrison Jr. won't play in Sunday's finale vs. the Rams, the team announced. Harrison suffered a new foot injury in the Week 17 loss to the Bengals, on the opposite side of the bum heel he's been dealing with. It ends a disappointing sophomore season for Harrison, who winds up missing five games and parts of a few more. In eight games with a snap rate north of 70%, he averaged:

• 4.0 catches
• 61.6 yards
• 0.5 TDs

His 13.2 PPR points per game in those outings would have ranked 21st among WRs on the season. The Cardinals figure to have a new QB and coaching staff in 2026, which can only be good news for Harrison's fantasy prospects.

WR Michael Wilson and TE Trey McBride figure to dominate targets against the Rams this weekend.

Seahawks WR Rashid Shaheed was listed as a limited participant on Tuesday's practice report. (The team actually just held a walkthrough.) It means he's made some progress through the protocol, giving him a shot to play against the 49ers on Saturday night. We'll keep you posted on Shaheed's status leading up to that one.
