Kaytron Allen Lands with the Commanders in Round 6

The Washington Commanders selected Penn State RB Kaytron Allen in Round 6 of the 2026 NFL Draft. Allen brings one of the most well-rounded profiles in this RB class. The four-year contributor rushed for 867 yards and 10 TDs as a freshman. Over his final two seasons, Allen piled up 2,411 yards and 23 TDs on 430 carries, out-producing teammate Nick Singleton. Allen finished as Penn State’s all-time leading rusher with 4,180 yards. Among the 20 RBs invited to the NFL Combine, Allen ranked second in 2025 rushing market share (61.2%), and fifth in yards after contact per attempt (3.77). He ranked fourth in 2025 missed tackles forced per attempt (0.27) and 20th in receiving yards per route run (0.48). He is currently 23 years old.

The Cleveland Browns selected Arkansas QB Taylen Green in Round 6 of the 2026 NFL Draft. Green started for two years at Boise State before transferring to Arkansas for his final two seasons. He combined for 5,868 passing yards with 34 passing TDs and 20 INTs over those two years. Green also added 1,379 rushing yards and 16 rushing TDs. Green’s game was bult on his elite athleticism. He ran a 4.36 40 with a 43.50” Vertical and 11’02” Broad Jump at 6’5 3/4 and 227 pounds. Among the 15 QBs invited to the NFL Combine, Green ranked 15th in 2025 adjusted completion percentage (71.3%), and sixth in aDOT (9.5). Traore is a part of the NFL’s International Player Pathway (IPP) program, meaning he won’t count against the Dolphins’ roster. Traore was not invited to the NFL Combine. The Dolphins previously drafted TE Will Kacmarek in Round 3. Traore does offer more receiving upside than Kacmarek. Traore caught 35 passes for 369 yards and 4 TDs in 2025. Payton played a Taysom Hill type role in 2023 & 2024, rushing for 414 yards over those two seasons. He won the QB job in 2025. Miami Dolphins Take Their Third Rookie WR in Kevin Coleman

The Miami Dolphins selected Missouri WR Kevin Coleman Jr. in Round 5 of the 2026 NFL Draft. Coleman’s college career was a tour. He opened at Jackson State under Deion Sanders, transferred to Louisville for 2023, and then broke out at Mississippi State in 2024. Coleman caught 74 balls for 932 yards and 6 TDs that year – all team highs. His 2.32 yards per route ranked 57th among 260 FBS WRs with 50+ targets. Coleman transferred to Missouri this past year and again led his team in receptions (66) and receiving yards (732). He ranked 18th in targets per route (0.26) and 26th in yards per route (2.23) among the 49 WRs invited to this year’s Combine. Coleman goes just 5’10, 179 pounds and looks like a slot-only player in the NFL. He logged 92% of his snaps inside in college and registered a career 9.5-yard average target depth. That leaves him with a relatively unexciting fantasy ceiling.

Chiefs Take Combine Snub WR Cyrus Allen

The Kansas City Chiefs selected Cincinnati WR Cyrus Allen in Round 5 of the 2026 NFL Draft. Allen spent his first two college seasons at Louisiana Tech, finshing third on the team with 500 receiving yards as a freshman and second with 778 as a sophomore. Allen transferred to Texas A&M for his junior campaign but suffered a season-ending arm injury in November. Allen wrapped up his college career at Cincinnati, where he led the Bearcats in all major receiving categories. Allen’s 13 TDs were tied for third most in the FBS. He also posted strong advanced metrics: a 32.8% dominator rating and 2.42 yards per route. Both marks ranked top-16 among 52 of the top WRs in this year’s class. Allen is undersized at 5’11, 183 pounds with middling athleticism (4.49-second 40 time, 36-inch vertical). But he’s a twitchy route runner with plus ball skills. His most likely path to NFL playing time is in the slot, where he ran 92% of his routes last year.

Ravens Draft Receiving RB Adam Randall

The Baltimore Ravens selected Clemson RB Adam Randall in Round 5 of the 2026 NFL Draft. Randall played WR until 2024 but switched to full-time RB late that season. In 2025, he led Clemson with 814 rushing yards and 10 TDs, commanding a 65.1% carry share and earning clear trust from the coaching staff. At 6’2, 235 pounds, Randall brings rare size for a converted receiver. That background shows up in the passing game, where he snagged 36 passes for 254 yards. Among the 20 RBs invited to the NFL Combine, Randall ranked fifth in 2025 rushing market share (49.5%), and 13th in yards after contact per attempt (3.13). He ranked 15th in 2025 missed tackles forced per attempt (0.19) and 11th in receiving yards per route run (0.91). He is currently 21 years old.

The Lions Grab Upside WR Kendrick Law

The Detroit Lions selected Kentucky WR Kendrick Law in Round 5 of the 2026 NFL Draft. A top recruit out of high school, Law opened his college career at Alabama. He managed only 33 catches over three seasons there, even as the Crimson Tide went through a relatively underwhelming stretch at WR. A transfer to Kentucky this past year brought career highs across the board: 53 catches, 540 yards, and 3 TDs. The catches and yards led the team, although his 21.1% dominator rating ranked just 31st among 49 WRs at the Combine. Law was a short-range maven for the Wildcats, registering a 3.4-yard average target depth. 36 of his 53 catches (68%) came behind the line of scrimmage. Law was excellent with the ball in his hands, though, forcing 14 missed tackles and averaging 9.5 yards after catch per reception. That latter mark ranked fourth among 270 FBS WRs with 50+ targets last year. Law helped his case at the Combine, earning a 9.60 Relative Athletic Score at 5’11 and 203 pounds. His game needs a lot of refinement, but the athleticism and open-field ability gives Law a chance to develop into a starting slot receiver in the NFL.

The Tennessee Titans selected Penn State RB Nicholas Singleton in Round 5 of the 2026 NFL Draft. Singleton brings rare straight-line speed for his size and a slashing style. He’s also one of the top pass-catching backs. Penn State never unleashed him as a true workhorse, but he did play alongside four-star recruit Kaytron Allen. The duo split carries near-evenly across 2022-23 before Allen led 15.3 to 10.9 over the past two seasons. That’s concerning for Singleton’s usage projection. Among the 20 RBs invited to the NFL Combine, Singleton ranked 18th in 2025 rushing market share (25.8%), and in yards after contact per attempt (2.69). In fact, his 168 receptions were tops among all FBS players. Koziol posted a 94-839-8 line at Ball State in 2024, leading the team in all three categories. He took a step up in competition at Houston last year and pumped out 74 catches for 727 yards and 6 TDs. Koziol’s 27.7% dominator rating (share of team’s receiving yards + TDs) led the top 27 TEs in this year’s class. His 2.26 yards per route ranked second to only Eli Stowers. Koziol didn’t do much work downfield in college, with a career 8.1-yard average target depth. But he caught over 70% of his targets and scored on 10% of his receptions. Koziol checked in at 6’7, 247 pounds at the Combine and earned a 9.58 Relative Athletic Score. He checks a ton of boxes and is one of our favorite sleepers in this TE class.

Reggie Virgil Drafted as WR Depth for the Cardinals

The Arizona Cardinals selected Texas Tech WR Reggie Virgil in Round 5 of the 2026 NFL Draft. Virgil caught just two passes across his first two seasons at Miami (Ohio) before grabbing a starting role in 2024. He earned second-team All-MAC honors that season, finishing second on the team with 816 receiving yards and first with 9 receiving TDs. Virgil parlayed that season into a move to Texas Tech this past year. There, he tallied a career-high and team-high 57 catches for 705 yards and 6 scores. Virgil mustered just 1.50 yards per route, though, ranking 44th among 49 WRs invited to this year’s Combine. The overall production profile is uninspiring, although it’s worth noting that Virgil is still only 21 and played QB up until 2020. That gives him more room for growth than the average rookie. But Virgil is ultimately unlikely to emerge as a real fantasy asset.

After posting a 24-472-9 line in 2021, he made a big step up in class at Miami. Young made an immediate impact there, leading the Canes with 5 receiving scores and ranking second on the team with 367 receiving yards in 2022. He finished third in catches (47), yards (563), and TDs (5) as a sophomore. Young then transferred to Georgia, where his career got off track. He was suspended from the team and missed the final 9 games of 2024 after being arrested for battery and assault. (Young eventually pled no contest to a lesser charge of disorderly conduct and received 12 months probation.) Then he missed six games this past year with a fractured left fibula. When he was on the field, Young averaged just 2.8 catches and 39.0 yards per game. He at least averaged a career-best 2.30 yards per route last year. Young goes 6’5, 218 pounds with deceptive speed and quickness. His route running needs work, but the size and early-career production make Young worth monitoring.
