        Nico Collins Limited Wednesday

Texans WR Nico Collins (hamstring) was limited in Wednesday's practice. We don't have any other details, but a hamstring issue for a skill-position player is always worrisome. We'll look for further updates on Collins and see what he does in Thursday's practice.

        Chig Okonkwo Sidelined Wednesday

Commanders TE Chig Okonkwo (hamstring) did not practice on Wednesday. We don't have any details on the severity of his hamstring injury, but he's looking like a long shot to play vs. the Cowboys this weekend. Okonkwo's absence would leave Ben Sinnott and John Bates as Washington's top TEs, likely pushing more targets to the WRs.

        R.J. Harvey Held Out Wednesday

Broncos RB R.J. Harvey (hamstring) did not practice on Wednesday. He seemed to make it out of Monday night's loss to the Chiefs ok, so this could just be a rest day on a short week. We'll see if Harvey gets back on the field tomorrow. His absence would be a boost to RB J.K. Dobbins and give RB Jonah Coleman a chance at more reps vs. the Jaguars this weekend.

        Jalen McMillan A Full-Go Wednesday

Buccaneers WR Jalen McMillan (knee) was a full participant in Wednesday's practice, putting him on track to play vs. the Browns this weekend. McMillan figures to return to a full-time role on the outside, ahead of rookie Ted Hurst. We had McMillan as a sleeper this draft season, but he'd be a stretch as a Week 2 fantasy starter.

TreVeyon Henderson A Full Participant Wednesday

Patriots RB TreVeyon Henderson (ankle) was a full-go in Wednesday's practice. He's on track to make his 2026 debut vs. the Steelers this weekend. Henderson was behind RB Rhamondre Stevenson on the depth chart before the ankle injury and is likely to return as the No. 2. That leaves him as just a RB3 or flex option in Week 2 fantasy lineups.

Kyler Murray Gets In Limited Practice Wednesday

Vikings QB Kyler Murray (concussion) got in a limited practice on Wednesday. He's made some progress through the protocol and at least has a chance to be cleared for this weekend's game vs. the Bears. We'll keep tabs on his status over the next few days, but fantasy managers still shouldn't plan on having Murray for Week 2 lineups.

        Zay Flowers Sidelined Wednesday

Ravens WR Zay Flowers (hamstring) did not practice on Wednesday. The team and media have downplayed this injury, but it's still an aggravation of a hamstring issue he dealt with in August. Flowers is certainly not a lock to play vs. the Saints this weekend. His absence would leave Baltimore very thin at WR, with Ja'Kobi Lane on IR with his fractured wrist.

The Latest On Atlanta's QB Mess

Falcons QBs Michael Penix (knee) and Cooper Rush (back) were full participants in Wednesday's practice, while QB Tua Tagovailoa (oblique) was out. Penix and Rush reportedly split first-team reps, and Penix said afterward that he's "close" to being ready to play. HC Kevin Stefanski did not name a Week 2 starter when asked on Wednesday. None of these guys should be in your Week 2 fantasy plans, but Drake London and Kyle Pitts owners should be hoping for Penix ASAP.

Ty Johnson Questionable For Week 2

Bills RB Ty Johnson (hamstring) was limited in practice all week and is listed as questionable for Thursday night's game vs. the Lions. With Johnson out last week, RB James Cook ran a route on 50% of pass plays -- up just a shade from last year's 46% route rate. Cook, of course, is a must-start regardless of Johnson's Week 2 status.

Joe Burrow Out Wednesday With Tight Back, Expects To Play Week 2

Bengals QB Joe Burrow sat out Wednesday's practice with back tightness but expects to play vs. the Texans this weekend, he told reporters. "I feel good," Burrow said. "Normal game day soreness, that's for sure. But I'll be alright." We'll keep a close eye on Burrow the rest of the week. He already sat lower than normal in our Week 2 rankings with that tough matchup against Houston. The Bengals have a quality backup QB in Joe Flacco, who averaged 273 yards and 2.2 TDs across 6 starts for the team last year.

Sam Darnold Ruled Out For Week 2

Seahawks QB Sam Darnold (glute) has been ruled out for Sunday's game vs. the Cardinals. The team has no plans to place him on IR, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter, but the early rule out doesn't bode well for Darnold's chances of making it back for Week 3. QB Drew Lock gets the start this weekend. He'll likely prove to be a downgrade from Darnold but had no problem getting the ball to WR Jaxon Smith-Njigba in the opener. JSN remains a must-start in Week 2, but no other Seattle pass catchers should be in fantasy lineups.

        Ladd McConkey Won't Practice Wednesday

Chargers WR Ladd McConkey (rib) won't practice on Wednesday, HC Jim Harbaugh said. McConkey dodged a significant injury by all accounts, but NFL Network's Ian Rapoport said Tuesday that his status for this weekend's game vs. the Raiders is "up in the air." We'll see if McConkey can get back on the field tomorrow, but fantasy managers should start making other plans for Week 2 lineups.

Jordan Mason To IR With Thumb Injury

The Vikings placed RB Jordan Mason on IR with a thumb injury, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter. This one comes out of nowhere. Mason finished the Week 1 win over the Packers, and there was no report of an injury afterward. He's now out for at least the next four games. We'll see about his availability beyond that.

Update: HC Kevin O'Connell said Mason had surgery to fix a "small fracture" in his thumb and is expected back after 4 weeks.

        Brock Bowers Won't Practice Wednesday

Raiders TE Brock Bowers (knee) won't practice on Wednesday, HC Klint Kubiak said. Both Kubiak and the national media have suggested that Bowers has a chance to return for this weekend's game vs. the Chargers, but we're not expecting it. Bowers managers should have another option ready to go for Week 2 lineups. His absence would again make Michael Mayer a viable TE1.

        Tyler Goodson Joins Cowboys Backfield

The Cowboys signed RB Tyler Goodson from Atlanta's practice squad and released RB Israel Abanikanda. Abanikanda was a healthy scratch for the opener, leaving RB Emari Demercardo behind workhorse Javonte Williams. We'll see if Goodson gets any run going forward, but Demercardo still looks like the top (albeit relatively shaky) handcuff to Williams.
