Redskins WR Jamison Crowder (ankle) is inactive for today’s game against the Panthers. WRs Paul Richardson (shoulder, knee) and Josh Doctson (heel) are active and figure to serve as the team’s top 2 WRs. They’re tough to like as more than WR4s, though. We’re expecting TE Jordan Reed to be busy today.
Jets WR Jamison Crowder (knee) isn’t listed on the final Week 8 injury report. He was limited in Thursday’s practice but put in a full workout on Friday. QB Sam Darnold’s collapse this past Monday night adds risk to Crowder’s fantasy outlook — but he’s seen 34 targets in Darnold’s 3 starts this season.
Jets WR Jamison Crowder was added to Thursday's injury report as limited with a knee. We don't have any other details on the situation. Check back tomorrow for an update on Crowder's status for this weekend's game vs. Jacksonville.
The Athletic's Connor Hughes expects Jets WR Jamison Crowder to be a "reception animal" this season and believes he could "creep near or past 100 catches." We'll comfortably bet the under there -- but the takeaway is that Crowder is in line for big volume. "He and [QB Sam] Darnold found chemistry the moment they stepped on the field together," Hughes writes. "They see plays the exact same way, which helps the two connect when things break down." In the Jets' preseason opener, Darnold targeted Crowder on 2 of his 5 passes, completing both for 31 yards and a score. Crowder looks like a big value at his recent 14th-round ADP.
Just a day after leaving practice with a left foot injury, Jets WR Jamison Crowder gained clearance Tuesday to return, The Associated Press reports. The Jets didn't practice Tuesday, but the team tweeted that Crowder is expected to return to the field Wednesday.
Jets WR Jamison Crowder left Monday's practice with a left foot injury. HC Adam Gase said afterward that the wideout was headed for an MRI. We'll see about the extent of the injury. Crowder lost time the past 2 seasons to a high-ankle sprain and hamstring trouble.
Get ready to hear plenty about the Rams-Cowboys matchup and the inexpensive WRs on the main slate.
