Packers WR Randall Cobb (hamstring) is inactive for today’s game against the Dolphins. With WR Geronimo Allison on IR, Green Bay is down to Davante Adams, Marquez Valdes-Scantling and Equanimeous St. Brown.
Texans WR Randall Cobb (foot) admits there's a "strong chance" that he doesn't play again this season. He remains in a walking boot and is reportedly considering surgery. Look for Keke Coutee to operate as Houston's slot receiver the rest of the way.
Texans WRs Randall Cobb (toe) and Kenny Stills (quad) are out for Thursday's game against the Lions. That elevates WR Keke Coutee to #3 on the depth chart and makes him an intriguing DFS flier on the 3-game Thanksgiving slate. TE Jordan Akins could also see a volume boost.
Update: Cobb has been placed on IR, so he'll miss at least 2 more games beyond Thanksgiving.
Texans WR Randall Cobb suffered a toe injury "considered significant" in Sunday's win over the Patriots, according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport. He's set to undergo additional testing but "is set to miss games," Rapoport adds. Houston also lost WR Kenny Stills to a leg injury yesterday. That left Keke Coutee as the #3 WR.
On the same day they traded away WR DeAndre Hopkins, the Texans also agreed to a 3-year deal with WR Randall Cobb. NFL Network's James Jones reports it's a $27 million pact, including $18.75 million guaranteed. That comes a year after Cobb managed only a 1-year, $5 million contract with the Cowboys. Cobb did rebound with Dallas last season. He averaged 15.1 yards per catch after 4 straight seasons of 10.5 or less, and Pro Football Focus graded him a solid 57th among all WRs, up from 115th in 2018. But Cobb also averaged just 3.7 receptions per game as the #3 wideout and hasn't reached 56 yards per game since 2014. Cobb joins Kenny Stills and Will Fuller in a Houston WR corps with no clear leader. But they do, at least, have a dynamic young QB. Cobb will turn 30 in August.
Cowboys Randall Cobb (hip, back) is inactive for today’s game against the Jets. His absence opens up a few extra looks for Amari Cooper, Michael Gallup and Jason Witten.
