The Packers will place DT Kenny Clark on IR with the elbow injury that kept him out of Week 15, according to NFL Network's Tom Pelissero. The injury reportedly won't require surgery, so Clark should be set for 2019. That will be the final year on his current contract. Clark will still be just 23 when next season begins -- continued his statistical ascent this year, scoring as a top 15 fantasy D-lineman. Expect to find him in starter range when our 2019 IDP rankings come out.
Packers DT Kenny Clark (calf) is active for today's game against the Raiders. He entered questionable but looks fine for normal IDP use.
Packers DT Kenny Clark is questionable for Sunday's game against the Raiders with a calf injury that popped up during the practice week. Clark was a full participant Wednesday before sitting out Thursday and then returning to a limited Friday workout. We'll see about Clark's status Sunday morning.
Packers DT Kenny Clark is out for today's game against the Bears because of an elbow injury. That's a big blow to both the Green Bay run defense and the interior pass rush. It's also a big blow to IDP lineups, as Clark has been a season-long DL1.
Packers DT Kenny Clark is questionable for Sunday's game against the Bears with an elbow injury that kept him out of practice all week. HC Joe Philbin indicated Friday that Clark doesn't necessarily need to practice to play: "He's played a lot of football ... so he has a good handle on what his job responsibility is and the scheme, etc." We'll check Clark's status Sunday morning. If he's active, go ahead and use him as you would normally for IDP lineups. Clark returned to last week's game (a lopsided win) after sustaining the injury.
Green Bay drafted DT Kenny Clark 27th in the 1st round of the NFL Draft. Clark doesn't look like a terrific IDP option as an interior player, but he should face an immediate starting opportunity with B.J. Raji retiring (at least for now).
