Per NFL Network, Chiefs TE Travis Kelce recently underwent ankle surgery. The procedure was considered a “cleanup,” and Kelce is fully expected to be ready for training camp. The 29-year-old has reached 1,000 receiving yards in 3 straight seasons. He’s missed just one game since the start of the 2014 season.

Recent Shark Bites

Chiefs TE Travis Kelce has been medically cleared for the start of training camp. He was sidelined this spring after early-offseason ankle surgery, but it never sounded like something that would impact his 2019 campaign. Kelce is locked in as the #1 TE in fantasy football and is worth considering at the tail end of Round 1.

Chiefs TE Travis Kelce has stayed off the field through spring workouts while recovering from offseason ankle surgery. He told ArrowheadPride.com this week, though, that he expects to be "100 percent" by the start of training camp. We'll certainly watch for that to come true and then keep an eye out for any setbacks, but we're not currently worried about our clear #1 TE.

The Chiefs have ruled TE Travis Kelce out for the rest of the Wild Card round game against the Titans with a concussion. It's his 2nd concussion of the season, following an October head injury that didn't cost Kelce any games. Demetrius Harris will see more activity in the 2nd half.

Chiefs TE Travis Kelce is a healthy scratch for today's finale against the Broncos. Demetrius Harris will serve as K.C.'s lead TE. RB Kareem Hunt is active, but we'd be surprised if he played much.

Chiefs TE Travis Kelce (concussion) is not listed on the final Week 6 injury report. He put in full practices on Thursday and Friday and has evidently passed through the protocol. Kelce has a tough matchup against the Steelers but remains an elite TE1.
