ESPN's Adam Schefter reports that WR Donte Moncrief and the Steelers have agreed to a 2-year deal. Moncrief ranked 2nd among Jaguars with 89 targets in his lone Jacksonville season, catching 48 balls for 668 yards and 3 TDs. The targets, receptions and yards were each his 2nd-best career marks, while the 3 TDs tied his 2nd-highest. Moncrief figures to compete with 2nd-year WR James Washington for the #2 WR gig behind JuJu Smith-Schuster. We'd bet on Washington's upside first, but the ADP of each player will be interesting to watch and factor heavily into which is the better fantasy football draft value.
The Jaguars on Tuesday reached a deal with WR Donte Moncrief, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter. The former Colt surpassed 32 receptions just once over his 1st 4 seasons and lost 13 games to injuries over the past 2 years. He has plenty to prove before you should treat him as a significant fantasy asset in Jacksonville.
Colts WR Donte Moncrief (ankle) is out for Sunday's game in Buffalo. He's topped 3 catches just twice all year and has been off the fantasy radar for a while. Moncrief's absence figures to mean some extra action for WRs Chester Rogers and Kamar Aiken, but neither guy can be trusted in fantasy lineups.
Colts WR Donte Moncrief returned to practice on Wednesday after missing the previous few days with a minor shoulder injury. His fantasy stock is unaffected. Moncrief is locked in as Indy's #2 WR and has upside at his 6th-round ADP -- assuming QB Andrew Luck is ready by Week 1.
Colts WR Donte Moncrief is "day to day" with a "mild" AC sprain in his shoulder, HC Chuck Pagano said on Friday. Moncrief missed 5 games last year with a broken shoulder blade, although it doesn't seem like this is at all related. We'll keep an eye on him, but we're not moving him down the WR rankings.
Aiming for better conditioning, Colts WR Donte Moncrief said he’s dropped 9 pounds off his playing weight of 223. “I feel better, faster and lighter,” Moncrief revealed via the Colts’ official site. GM Chris Ballard has noticed a difference in the young WR, too. “I thought Donte Moncrief had an outstanding, outstanding offseason,” Ballard said. “I want to see it continue into camp and into the season. We think he has great upside and I’ve really appreciated the way he’s worked.” Moncrief has all of the physical tools to post a true breakout season. He’ll be financially motivated, too, as the 24-year-old (in August) enters the final year of his rookie deal.
