Packers WR Marquez Valdes-Scantling (knee, ankle) is "hopeful" to play against the Raiders today, according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport. MVS was able to play through these injuries last week but only got in a limited practice on Friday. He won't be at 100% if he suits up, leaving him as a risky WR3.
Packers WR Marquez Valdes-Scantling (Achilles) is active for tonight’s game against the Bears. He’s a boom-or-bust fantasy play, especially at less than 100%.
Packers WR Marquez Valdes-Scantling (Achilles) is questionable for Sunday night’s game against the Bears. He injured his Achilles on Thursday and then didn’t practice on Friday — so he seems to be on the doubtful side of questionable. Valdes-Scantling’s absence would make WR Allen Lazard a more intriguing Week 12 fantasy play.
Packers WRs Geronimo Allison (concussion, chest) and Marquez Valdes-Scantling (knee, ankle) are active for today’s game against the Raiders. It’s a plus matchup, but both guys figure to be operating at less than 100%. Their availability is obviously good news for QB Aaron Rodgers, though.
Packers WR Marquez Valdes-Scantling left in the 2nd quarter of Monday night's game against the Lions after apparently hurting his left knee. MVS was blocking and had a defensive player roll into the back of his leg. We'll keep an eye on his status.
Update: MVS returned to the field for the start of the 2nd half.
ESPN's Rob Demovsky says minicamp revealed that 2nd-year Packers WR Marquez Valdes-Scantling "is a starter" and "probably is the No. 2 receiver behind [Davante Adams]." MVS has reportedly been in constantly for 2- and 3-WR sets, with Geronimo Allison looking likely to play the slot in 3-wide sets. Adams said, "I think this offense is really catered for a guy like [MVS]." Valdes-Scantling already delivered 6 weeks of top-36 PPR production as a rookie. He could carry upside into WR2 range in 2019.
