Jets HC Aaron Glenn told reporters Thursday morning that the team got "pretty good news" on rookie TE Kenyon Sadiq following this week's setback in his recovery from hernia surgery.

Cleveland's QB competition has been viewed as Deshaun Watson vs. Shedeur Sanders throughout the offseason, which makes obvious sense. Sanders finished last year as the team's starter, and Watson's still making way too much money to not at least get consideration. But Dillon Gabriel has gained recent praise from HC Todd Monken and should see expanded practice reps.

The Colts and RB Jonathan Taylor have agreed to a two-year, $44 million extension, according to multiple reports. The deal includes $39 million in guarantees and a max value of $47 million. It comes just days after Bijan Robinson got a record-setting extension (among RBs) from the Falcons and checks in just short of Robinson's annual average. It will obviously end the "hold-in" that has found Taylor at camp but not participating. Before the extension, Taylor would have been entering the final year of his existing contract.

Patrik Walker of the Cowboys website asked OC Klayton Adams about the RB competition behind starter Javonte Williams. He said Adams praised each member of the group, but had comments that "stuck out" about one particular competitor.

It was another eventful offseason for Chiefs TE Travis Kelce, highlighted by getting hitched to Taylor Swift. But HC Andy Reid says Kelce showed up to training camp in good shape and is primed for another productive season.

Giants beat writer Dan Duggan called TE Isaiah Likely "the most consistent offensive player" on the team. "[I'd] be very surprised if he's not a very reliable option," Duggan added.

Jordan Addison jammed his thumb and is expected to miss practice time, but it's “nothing to be concerned about,” per Vikings HC Kevin O’Connell.

Rico Dowdle is impressing in his first training camp with the Steelers. Mark Kaboly, Steelers Correspondent for the Pat McAfee Show, writes “Even though [Jaylen] Warren is very good, Dowdle will be the unquestioned RB1 when the season starts.”

KC Concepcion is back to making plays in training camp just a day after a shoulder injury scare. Zac Jackson of The Athletic reported that both Concepcion and Boston are off to “strong starts” in a paragraph that included “It feels like Jerry Jeudy’s time as the de facto No. 1 wide receiver is coming to an end…”.

Texans WR Tank Dell practiced in pads Wednesday for the first time since his devastating knee injury in December 2024. He remained limited, catching passes from QB C.J. Stroud and running full-speed routes but avoiding contact drills.

Broncos WR Jaylen Waddle left Wednesday's practice early with an apparent lower-body injury and did not return. HC Sean Payton said the receiver is "expected to be fine," according to Zac Stevens of TheDNVR.com. He attributed the issue to "muscle tightness."

We read rosy reports earlier this week about TE Chig Okonkwo and WR Treylon Burks at Commanders camp, but the team clearly believed it needed a pass-catching upgrade. So Wednesday brought an agreement with veteran WR Stefon Diggs, according to multiple reports. ESPN's Adam Schefter says it's a one-year deal worth "up to $12 million."

The Philly Voice's Jimmy Kempski writes: "Through five practices, [Dontayvion] Wicks pretty clearly looks like the second-best receiver in camp." Wicks has impressed with his route running, blocking, and even his hands, per Kempski. Rookie WR Makai Lemon, meanwhile, was quiet early in camp before being sidelined with a hamstring injury.

Falcons Edge Jalon Walker tore his left ACL in practice Tuesday and will miss the entire season. That's a big blow to a defense that already had questions about its pass-rushing group.

Commanders RB Jacory Croskey-Merritt impressed as a runner in his 2025 rookie season, averaging 4.6 yards per carry and ranking 12th among 51 qualifiers in rush yards over expected per attempt. But his fantasy value was capped by minimal receiving production: Just 9 catches across 17 games. That followed scant passing-game usage in college, with JCM totaling just 34 grabs in 44 outings. But word out of Commanders camp is that Croskey-Merritt has been seeing more work as a receiver and showing improvement in that department.

Raiders beat writer Ryan McFadden writes that WR Malik Benson "has made a strong case for meaningful snaps" this season.

Bears RB Kyle Monangai was back at practice on Tuesday and took part in 11-on-11 work. He missed the first few days of camp with a soft-tissue injury, but that appears to be behind him now. Barring a setback, consider Monangai's fantasy outlook unaffected. The 1B in Chicago's backfield behind D'Andre Swift, Monangai is straddling the line between standalone fantasy option and high-end handcuff.

WR Ja'Kobi Lane has "become the star of Ravens training camp" and is the early favorite for the No. 3 job behind Zay Flowers and Rashod Bateman, according to ESPN's Jamison Hensley. Lane had another strong practice on Tuesday, highlighted by this one-handed snag.

Patriots WR A.J. Brown has continued to find success as the newest member of the Drake Maye passing attack, catching all 4 targets thrown his way on the ninth day of training camp, per The Boston Herald’s Andrew Callahan. That comes just a day after he dislocated his left thumb.
