Bears WR Luther Burden (ankle) got in a limited practice on Wednesday, but WR Rome Odunze (foot) remained sidelined. We're tentatively projecting Burden to return for Sunday night's game vs. the 49ers and Odunze to miss. But we'll keep you updated on the situation over the next few days.

Patriots RB TreVeyon Henderson (concussion) got in a limited practice on Wednesday. That gives him a chance to be cleared in time for Sunday's game vs. the Jets, but we'll need to keep an eye on his progress over the next few days. RB Rhamondre Stevenson would downgrade from high-end RB2 status to more of a RB3 if Henderson is able to play.

Packers QB Jordan Love (concussion, left shoulder) was limited in Wednesday's practice. He's made some progress through the protocol but still has work to do to be cleared for Saturday night's game vs. the Ravens. QB Malik Willis (right shoulder, illness) followed a limited practice on Tuesday with no practice on Wednesday. We presume the illness kept him out today, but we'll keep tabs on his status over the next few days.

Packers WR Romeo Doubs (wrist) was a full-go in Wednesday's practice. He hurt his wrist on a fail onside kick recovery in last week's loss to the Bears but is evidently good to go for Saturday night's game vs. the Ravens. Doubs will only be a viable fantasy play in that one if QB Jordan Love clears concussion protocol.

Packers RB Josh Jacobs (knee, ankle) got in a limited practice on Wednesday. That seemingly puts him on track to play vs. the Ravens on Saturday night, although we'll continue to monitor his status. Jacobs wound up carrying just 12 times on 28 snaps in last week's loss to the Bears, playing very sparingly in the second half. There's certainly a risk that he's limited again against Baltimore.

Ravens QB Lamar Jackson (back) did not practice on Wednesday. HC John Harbaugh labeled him day to day. "We’ll see where it’s at tomorrow and as we go forward," Harbaugh added. Jackson seems truly questionable for Saturday night's game vs. the Packers. We'll keep you updated on his status leading up to that one, but fantasy managers should be lining up an alternative.

Texans RB Woody Marks (ankle) was a full participant in Wednesday's practice. He's on track to return for Saturday's game vs. the Chargers. Marks should take back over as lead back. But don't be surprised if Houston eases off his volume a bit considering how banged up the rookie has been lately.

Broncos WR Pat Bryant (concussion) is out for Thursday night's game vs. the Chiefs. When the rookie missed Week 15 with a hamstring injury, Lil'Jordan Humphrey finished second among Broncos in routes (76%), ahead of Troy Franklin (62%). Franklin out-targeted Humphrey 6 to 4 and out-gained him 85 to 42. He remains the better Week 17 fantasy bet. Just don't go overrating Franklin, whose playing time has been underwhelming since the Week 12 bye.

Lions RB David Montgomery (illness) is listed as questionable for Thursday's game vs. the Vikings. He was sidelined on Tuesday but returned to a limited practice on Wednesday. Montgomery should be fine for the Christmas game, but we'll get Detroit's inactives around 3 pm ET tomorrow.

Lions WR Amon-Ra St. Brown (knee) is listed as questionable for Thursday's game vs. the Vikings. HC Dan Campbell said Tuesday that St. Brown was dealing with some knee "irritation" coming out of the Week 16 loss to the Steelers. He got in limited practices on Tuesday and Wednesday. "St. Brown seems to be in a good position to play," NFL Network's Ian Rapoport said Wednesday afternoon. St. Brown can stay penciled into Week 17 fantasy lineups. We'll get Detroit's inactives around 3 pm ET tomorrow.

The Chiefs placed WR Rashee Rice on IR with his concussion. He'll miss the final two games of the season. It's probably for the best for fantasy managers: Rice would have been tough to trust with QB Chris Oladokun. WR Tyquan Thornton (concussion) is also landing on IR, leaving Xavier Worthy, JuJu Smith-Schuster, and Marquise Brown as Kansas City's likely top three WRs for the final two weeks. We'll see if rookie WR Jalen Royals gets involved, but this is a WR corps to avoid in all fantasy formats.

Vikings RB Jordan Mason (ankle) is out for Thursday's game vs. the Lions. RB Aaron Jones (ankle) was limited in practice all week but is not listed on the final injury report. He probably won't be at 100% but figures to serve as Minnesota's clear lead back on Christmas. Jones lands 20th in the Week 17 RB rankings.

Vikings TE T.J. Hockenson (back) is out for Thursday's game vs. the Lions. He didn't practice all week, and it's possible we don't see him in Week 18 either. Hockenson's absence leaves Josh Oliver as Minnesota's likely lead TE. He's only in play in Thursday daily contests.

The Jets placed QB Justin Fields (knee) on IR. It ends another erratic season for Fields. He flashed -- albeit in excellent matchups -- with a 283-2-0 passing line vs. the Cowboys and a 244-1-0 vs. the Bengals. And he averaged 42.6 rushing yards per game. But he also failed to reach 120 passing yards in three of his seven full games and finishes the year with just 6.2 yards per pass attempt. Fields is signed with the Jets for 2026, although HC Aaron Glenn was non-committal when asked Tuesday whether Fields will be back with the team. The Jets currently hold the No. 4 overall pick in the 2026 NFL Draft.

Commanders QB Josh Johnson will start Thursday's game vs. Cowboys, HC Dan Quinn said. QB Jeff Driskel will be the backup, with QBs Jayden Daniels and Marcus Mariota ruled out. Johnson has been bouncing around the NFL since 2009 but hasn't started a game since 2021 with the Ravens. He's 39 years old. Despite the plus matchup against Dallas' 32nd-ranked QB defense, Johnson isn't a recommended start in any fantasy format. The matchup keeps Terry McLaurin and Deebo Samuel in WR3 range in the Week 17 rankings.

The Raiders are placing TE Brock Bowers on IR, ending his 2025 season, according to multiple sources. Bowers has battled a knee injury for most of the year and is shutting it down (potentially in part because this weekend's game vs. the Giants could determine who gets the No. 1 pick in the 2026 draft!). His absence leaves Michael Mayer as Vegas' lead TE for the final two games of the season. He posted 5-50-1 and 1-10-0 receiving lines in two games without Bowers earlier this season. Consider Mayer more of a desperation spot starter than reliable Week 17 play vs. the Giants' seventh-ranked TE defense.

Vikings RB Jordan Mason (ankle) did not practice on Tuesday. He never returned to last week's game vs. the Giants after going down on the first possession and seems unlikely to play vs. the Lions on Thursday. RB Aaron Jones, who also suffered an ankle injury on that opening possession, returned to the game and was limited on Tuesday. He should be ready to lead the backfield on Christmas.

Lions WR Amon-Ra St. Brown (knee) was limited in Tuesday's practice. Asked about St. Brown's knee injury before practice, HC Dan Campbell said: “It’s positive news, but he’s a little irritated. There’s a little irritation. So, short week, we’ll see. But I would say it’s still positive news.” The Lions still have an outside shot at the playoffs, so St. Brown will be out there against the Vikings on Thursday as long as he's able. We'll update his status again tomorrow.

Commanders QB Marcus Mariota (right hand, quad) did not practice on Tuesday. He hasn't been ruled out for Thursday's game vs. the Cowboys, but we'd be surprised if he played. QB Josh Johnson is the likely starter for that one. The 39-year-old's last NFL start came in 2021.

49ers TE George Kittle suffered a “mid-to-low ankle sprain" in Monday night's win over the Colts, according to ESPN's Jeremy Fowler. That's better news than a high-ankle sprain but still leaves Kittle uncertain for Sunday night's game against the Bears. We'll keep tabs on his status throughout the rest of the week. Kittle's absence would turn TE Jake Tonges into an intriguing spot starter. He averaged 6.2 targets, 4.4 catches, 41.8 yards, and 0.4 TDs in the five games Kittle missed early this season.
