Behind Khalil Shakir, Brandin Cooks looks like the best bet for targets in the group. TE Dalton Kincaid could also be leaned on against a Jacksonville defense that has struggled defending TEs at times this season.

The Bills have ruled LB Terrel Bernard out for Sunday’s game against the Jaguars with a calf injury. LB Shaq Thompson, who has generally replaced Bernard, is questionable with a neck issue that limited him all week. Buffalo also ruled out rookie CB Maxwell Hairston

49ers WR Ricky Pearsall (knee, ankle) is listed as questionable for Sunday's Wild Card game vs. the Eagles. He didn't practice all week. HC Kyle Shanahan said Friday that Pearsall has "a chance" to play in this one, but it seems unlikely. We'll look for further updates on Pearsall's status and get San Francisco's inactives around 3 pm ET tomorrow.

The Washington Commanders have promoted assistant QB Coach David Blough to the team's open offensive coordinator position. Blough’s promotion comes after OC Kliff Kingsbury parted ways with the team. Blough was gaining interest from the Lions as a possible OC candidate, so the Commanders moved quickly to retain him. Blough was an NFL QB from 2019-2023, including the end of his career under HC Dan Campbell with the Lions, but they won’t get the chance to poach him.

Texans RB Jawhar Jordan (ankle) missed his second straight practice on Friday, casting doubt on his availability for Monday night's Wild Card game vs. the Steelers. Jordan has emerged as Houston's No. 2 RB. His absence would be a slight boost to RB Woody Marks' projection. We'll see how Jordan is listed on Saturday's final injury report.

Chargers RB Omarion Hampton (ankle) is listed as questionable for Sunday night's Wild Card game vs. the Patriots. He only got in a limited practice on Friday but said that he expects to play. We'll look for further updates on the rookie's status, but it's safe to assume he'll be at far less than 100% if he does suit up. That could mean more RB Kimani Vidal.

Packers WR Dontayvion Wicks (concussion) has been downgraded to out for Saturday night's Wild Card game vs. the Bears. That should leave Matthew Golden as the No. 4 WR behind Christian Watson, Romeo Doubs, and Jayden Reed, but the rookie isn't a recommended play in any fantasy formats.

Patriots WR Kayshon Boutte (hamstring) is listed as questionable for Sunday night's Wild Card game vs. the Chargers. He was added to the injury report on Thursday but was able to get in a limited practice on Friday. We're tentatively expecting Boutte to play this weekend but will look for further updates on his status.

Palmer shouldn't have been in your fantasy plans this week, but a weak Buffalo WR corps would certainly be better off with him.

Bills RB Ty Johnson (ankle) is listed as questionable for Sunday's Wild Card game vs. the Jaguars. He only got in a limited practice on Friday and is expected to be a game-time decision, HC Sean McDermott said. Johnson has played a small pass-catching role throughout the season, averaging 1.9 targets and 1.4 catches per game. His absence would be a slight boost to RB James Cook's receiving projection.

Chargers RB Omarion Hampton (ankle) missed practice again on Thursday. "We’re gonna wait and see on that," OC Greg Roman said of the rookie. "He’s working through his process with the medical group. He’s ready, mentally, with the gameplan, and then we’ll have to wait and see." We'll see if Hampton practices on Friday and how he's listed on the final injury report for Sunday night's game vs. the Patriots.

Bills K Matt Prater (quad) returned to a full practice on Thursday. It looks like he'll be ready to kick vs. the Jaguars on Sunday, despite hurting his quad in the regular-season finale. Buffalo's 26.5-point implied total is second-highest on the Wild Card slate.

Packers WR Dontayvion Wicks (concussion) is questionable for Saturday night's Wild Card game vs. the Bears. He was limited in practice all week. Wicks figures to be Green Bay's No. 4 WR if he's cleared and isn't much of a factor in playoff fantasy contests.

Rams TE Terrance Ferguson (hamstring) is listed as questionable for Saturday's Wild Card game vs. the Panthers. He only got in a limited practice on Thursday, after missing Week 18. Ferguson figures to slot in as Los Angeles' No. 3 TE behind Colby Parkinson and Tyler Higbee if he suits up this weekend. If not, Davis Allen will be the 3rd TE.

Lions GM Brad Holmes admitted Thursday that the team will consider trading RB David Montgomery this offseason. Montgomery has two years left on his current contract, with cap hits of $8.4 million in 2026 and $10.2 in 2027.

Bears WR Rome Odunze (foot) is not listed on the final injury report for Saturday night's Wild Card game vs. the Packers. He practiced all week, including a full workout on Thursday. Odunze has not played since Week 13 due to what's been reported as a stress fracture in his foot. He got off to a hot start this season, averaging 5.0 catches, 74 yards, and 1.3 TDs over his first four games. But those marks sunk to 3.0 catches, 45.6 yards, and 0.1 TDs over his last eight, with the foot injury likely at least partly to blame. It's tough to know exactly how close to 100% Odunze is now, leaving him as a risky play in fantasy contests.

It seemed immediately after Week 18 that Miami would proceed with HC Mike McDaniel in place. But that changed Thursday when the team fired him. That move follows the in-season ouster of GM Chris Grier. McDaniel spent the past four years at the Dolphins helm after one year as 49ers OC and four others as run-game coordinator.

The Buccaneers have fired OC Josh Grizzard, according to multiple reports. Grizzard spent just one season piloting the Tampa Bay offense after joining the team as pass-game coordinator in 2024. He spent seven years on the Dolphins offensive staff before that, working under head coaches Adam Gase, Brian Flores, and Mike McDaniel. Next season will mark the fifth time in five years under HC Todd Bowles that the Bucs have sported a different OC.

"The New Orleans Saints are preparing to move ahead with Tyler Shough as their starting quarterback in 2026," writes ESPN's Katherine Terrell. Shough started the Saints' final nine games as a second-round rookie, going 5-4 while averaging 250.7 passing yards, 1.1 TDs, and 0.6 INTs per contest.

Seahawks TE Elijah Arroyo has been designated to return from IR. The rookie has been sidelined since Week 14 with a knee injury but is ready to get back on the practice field. Barring a setback, he'll likely be cleared to play in Seattle's playoff opener next week. Arroyo isn't much of a standalone option in playoff fantasy contests, but he dents TE A.J. Barner's outlook. Barner ran a route on 73% of pass plays without Arroyo over the last four games -- up from 66% in 13 games with Arroyo.
