Dalton Kincaid Delivers in the Perfect Matchup

Bills TE Dalton Kincaid returned from a hamstring injury to post 4 catches, 41 yards, and 1 TD against the Bengals. But it was Dawson Knox who led the team in targets (7), catches (6) and yards (93). Third-string TE Jackson Hawes even added a goal line TD on his lone target.

        Dalton Kincaid Active

        4:24pm UTC 12/7/25

Bills TE Dalton Kincaid (hamstring, knee) is active for today’s game vs. the Bengals. He’s been out since Week 10 with the hamstring and picked up a knee injury during rehab, HC Sean McDermott said this week. ESPN’s Adam Schefter said this morning that Kincaid would “try to play” today, which gives us the heebie-jeebies. Kincaid’s upside is tempting against Cincinnati’s league-worst TE defense, but he’d be a risky fantasy start. Check your Team Dashboard to see if he belongs in your starting lineup.

Dalton Kincaid Will "Try To Play" Vs. Bengals

        12:50pm UTC 12/7/25

Bills TE Dalton Kincaid (hamstring, knee) "plans to try to play" vs. the Bengals today, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter. That doesn't inspire much confidence in Kincaid as a Week 14 fantasy start. He's been out since Week 10 with a hamstring injury and picked up a knee issue as he was rehabbing the hamstring, HC Sean McDermott said this week. The matchup with Cincinnati' league-worst TE defense boosts Kincaid's upside today, but he comes with a scary-low floor.

Dalton Kincaid Questionable For Week 14

        7:36pm UTC 12/5/25

Bills TE Dalton Kincaid (hamstring, knee) is listed as questionable for Sunday’s game vs. the Bengals. He was limited in practice all week, and his status seems truly up in the air for this one. The matchup against Cincinnati's historically bad TE defense would put Kincaid squarely in the TE1 mix if he suits up, albeit with some risk coming off the hamstring injury. If Kincaid sits again, TE Dawson Knox would be a viable fantasy start.

Bills Rule Joey Bosa, Terrel Bernard Out vs. Bengals

        4:46pm UTC 12/5/25

Bills HC Sean McDermott announced Friday that Edge Joey Bosa and LB Terrel Bernard will miss Sunday's game against the Bengals. It's no surprise for Bernard, who was said to be an IR candidate when he initially suffered his elbow injury. (He has missed one game since.) It's also not a shock for Bosa, who left last Sunday's win over the Steelers early with a hamstring injury.

        Dalton Kincaid Limited Wednesday

        8:21pm UTC 12/3/25

Bills TE Dalton Kincaid (hamstring, knee) was limited in Wednesday's practice. He's missed the last two games with a hamstring injury. The knee issue is new. Kincaid's status for this weekend remains uncertain, but he should certainly be pushing for a return to face the Bengals' historically bad TE defense. That matchup will give TE Dawson Knox spot-start appeal if Kincaid remains out.

Bills WR Josh Palmer (ankle) is inactive for today's game vs. the Steelers. WR Keon Coleman is back in the lineup, alongside WRs Khalil Shakir, Gabe Davis, Tyrell Shavers, and Brandin Cooks. Shakir is the only viable fantasy play here.

Bills TE Dalton Kincaid (hamstring) is inactive for today’s game vs. the Steelers. He returned to limited practices on Thursday and Friday, so he should have a chance to make it back for Week 14. TE Dawson Knox gets another start today but would be a desperation fantasy play.

Dalton Kincaid Questionable For Week 13

Bills TE Dalton Kincaid (hamstring) is questionable for this weekend’s game vs. the Steelers. He got in limited practices on Thursday and Friday. Out since Week 10, Kincaid seems genuinely iffy for this one. We’ll look for further updates on his status but won’t get Buffalo’s inactives until a little before 3 pm ET on Sunday.

Bills TE Dalton Kincaid (hamstring) got in a limited practice on Thursday. It was his first practice of any kind since going down in Week 10. Dalton Kincaid Still Out Wednesday

        7:00pm UTC 11/26/25

Bills TE Dalton Kincaid (hamstring) remained sidelined for Wednesday's practice. That doesn't bode well for his chances to returning for this weekend's game vs. the Steelers. Dawson Knox figures to get another game as lead TE in that one, but he's posted just 1-19-1, 1-23-0, and 3-17-0 in three games without Kincaid this season.

        Bills Add Brandin Cooks

        10:32pm UTC 11/25/25

The Bills signed WR Brandin Cooks. The 32-year-old was dumped by the Saints last week after totaling 165 scoreless yards across 10 games. He was in a tough spot in a bad offense. But Cooks averaged a pathetic 0.58 yards per route and ranks 105th among 110 qualifying WRs in Pro Football Focus' receiving grades. It's a desperation move by the Bills that's unlikely to make a difference in real life or fantasy football. Leave Cooks on your waiver wire.

Khalil Shakir Bounces Back With Season-High 110 Yards

        1:56pm UTC 11/21/25

Bills WR Khalil Shakir caught eight of 10 targets for a season-high 110 yards in Thursday night's loss to the Texans. It was a strong bounce back from Week 11, when he finished with negative-three yards on one catch. As usual, most of Shakir's work came near the line of scrimmage vs. Houston. But he made two big plays in key moments. The first came on a swing pass off jet motion on a third-and-12 in the fourth quarter. Shakir caught the short pass and shook two Texans defenders for a 44-yard gain. Then, facing a fourth-and-22 late in the fourth, the Bills called and perfectly executed a hook-and-ladder. WR Josh Palmer caught the ball 11 yards downfield and pitched to Shakir, who picked up another 33 yards to get the first down. Shakir does not get credit for a catch on that play, but does get the 33 receiving yards.

The Texans defense was dominant in Thursday night's 23-19 win over the Bills. Seven of Buffalo's points came on a Ray Davis kick-return TD. The offense managed just 12 points and 326 total yards -- their second-fewest of the season. QB Josh Allen was under duress all night, taking a season-high eight sacks and getting pressured on 33% of his dropbacks. He finished with 253 yards, 0 TDs, and 2 INTs on 24-of-34 passing, plus 20 scoreless rushing yards. It was just Allen's second game of this season and fourth over the last two seasons without a TD.

Bills TE Dalton Kincaid (hamstring) is out for Thursday night's game vs. the Texans. He's yet to practice since going down in Week 10, so we'd consider him iffy to make it back for Week 13's meeting with the Steelers. TE Dawson Knox has registered 77% and 85% route rates in the two games Kincaid has missed this season, although he's totaled just five targets on a 9% share across those two games. WRs Curtis Samuel (elbow, neck) and Mecole Hardman (calf) have also been ruled out for Week 12.

According to NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport, Buffalo planned on Coleman playing this week, but that changed when he was late to meetings on Friday morning. WR Gabe Davis is active for Buffalo and could play a significant role in this one. But Khalil Shakir is the only Bills WR that can be trusted in fantasy lineups.

The Bills elevated WRs Gabe Davis and Mecole Hardman from the practice squad. Davis re-signed with Buffalo at the beginning of September after spending his first four NFL seasons with the team. Hardman joined the Bills' practice squad earlier this week. We wouldn't go rushing to add either guy to fantasy rosters -- and neither should be anywhere near starting lineups. But we're curious to see where these guys fit in the pecking order. Davis, in particular, adds some risk to WR Keon Coleman's fantasy outlook. Khalil Shakir is the only Bills WR that should be in Week 11 fantasy lineups.
