The Titans signed LB Wesley Woodyard to a 4-year, $16 million deal Friday.  The contract appears to position him as an inside starter in what's expected to be a 3-4 front under new DC Ray Horton.  SI.com's Doug Farrar deems Woodyard an "estimable chip" for the defense.  Indeed, the versatility that helped Woodyard rack up 117 tackles, 5.5 sacks and 3 INTs for the Broncos in 2012 makes him a nice fit for Horton's scheme.  Woodyard lost his job in Denver over the 2nd half of last year, but that came after he suffered a neck stinger in October.  We expect Woodyard to emerge as an ILB starter alongside Zach Brown this summer and carry sleeper value in the 2014 IDP rankings.

Titans LB Wesley Woodyard did not show up on the team's final injury report this week. That means he's ready to go for Sunday morning's game against the Chargers. Woodyard's fine to pop back into IDP lineups.

Titans LB Wesley Woodyard (shoulder) is inactive for today's game against the Ravens. That clears the way for Jayon Brown to play full time for the 3rd straight week and makes him a strong IDP starter.

Titans LB Wesley Woodyard is questionable for Sunday's game against the Ravens with the shoulder injury that cost him Week 5 and knocked him out of the previous game early. Woodyard has called himself day to day. We'll see about his status Sunday. His status could also affect the playing time for Jayon Brown. The 2nd-year LB played at least two-thirds of the snaps in every game this season, though, so he's worth a shot in many cases even if Woodyard's active.

The Titans have ruled LB Wesley Woodyard our for Sunday's game at Buffalo with the shoulder injury that knocked him out of last week's game. Jayon Brown played 76 of 78 snaps against the Eagles, tallying 10 tackles and a sack. He's an upside IDP option against the Bills in Week 5.

Titans HC Mike Vrabel told reporters Monday that the team is "hopeful" LB Wesley Woodyard will be able to play against the Bills on Sunday. Woodyard left Week 4 early with a shoulder injury. We'll keep an eye on his status through the practice week.
