Jenkins to join Giants

Adam Schefter reports that the Giants have reached a deal with former Rams CB Janoris Jenkins. ESPN's Dan Graziano adds that Jenkins is expected to get more than $12 million per year. That's a hefty price for a cover man who has been inconsistent at best so far. Jenkins does have talent, though, and could boost a soft Giants secondary if motivated. He presents big-play upside as an IDP but doesn't make for a special fantasy option in most formats.

Giants CB Janoris Jenkins sustained a concussion in Sunday's loss to the Jets, according to multiple reports. The team gets a Week 11 bye, so we'll see about Jenkins' status heading into Week 12.

His presence dings the fantasy outlook for Eagles WR Alshon Jeffery, but we factored that into our Week 3 rankings. That he was questionable after missing the Week 2 contest also indicates there's some re-injury risk to Jenkins this week.
