Bears OLB Leonard Floyd left the field on a cart, strapped to a backboard in Sunday's loss to the Giants. He went to a local hospital, but the team announced that he was later released and would travel back to Chicago with his teammates. We'll keep an eye out for further info heading into a Week 12 matchup with the Titans.
The Rams are re-signing OLB Leonard Floyd for $64 million over 4 years, according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport. Floyd racked up a career-high 10.5 sacks in his 1st season with the Rams. But among the top 59 edge players in pass-rush snaps, Floyd tied for just 32nd in Pro Football Focus' pass-rushing productivity. He landed with the Rams after the Bears released him last March. We'll see what Floyd has in store for his age-29 season (and beyond). Don't expect him to land too high in our 2021 IDP rankings, though.
Rams OLB Leonard Floyd (abdomen) is active for today's game against the Cardinals. He suffered the injury late in the week and could be a risk for re-injury, but Floyd is available if you planned to use him.
Rams OLB Leonard Floyd (knee) is active for today's game against the Seahawks. He's just a low-level IDP option.
Bears OLB Leonard Floyd had surgery Sunday on the right hand he fractured in Saturday's 2nd preseason game. HC Matt Nagy said it "went well," according to ESPN, and that they're "staying optimistic" that he'll be ready for the regular-season opener. We'll see. Floyd would likely have to play with some sort of club on the right hand, which could challenge his pass-rushing moves.
Bears OLB Leonard Floyd left Saturday night's game against the Broncos with a left hand injury. According to the Chicago Tribune, Floyd was in a hard cast after the game and headed for further testing on Sunday. HC Matt Nagy, however, said "I don't think so" when asked whether Floyd (or TE Adam Shaheen) had suffered a fracture. We'll see where this goes. A healthy Floyd would be the team's lead pass-rusher.
