Rams ILB Mark Barron missed practice Thursday and said he's "not certain" whether he'll be ready to play Monday night, according to Rich Hammond of the Orange County Register. Barron is listed with an ankle injury, but Hammond tweeted that Barron's "still coming back from injuries." He participated little in training-camp practices and sat out the preseason. We saw Barron put in limited practice work all last year, too, but he would play full time on Sundays. We'll see where this situation goes, but you're best off going in another direction for your Week 1 IDP lineup. Corps mate Corey Littleton gets an upside boost if Barron sits out. Ramik Wilson would likely start in Barron's place after filling in during the preseason.
Steelers ILB Mark Barron (hamstring) is active for tonight's game against the Dolphins. He missed Week 6 but managed full practices on 2 of 3 days this week. Barron remains a risky IDP, as we don't yet know how he and Vince Williams might split playing time. But Barron's available if you waited for him.
Steelers ILB Mark Barron is questionable for Monday night's game against the Dolphins. He missed last week's game but sandwiched full practices Thursday and Saturday this week around a limited workout Friday. Barron seems to be trending toward playing. He's not a strong enough IDP to be worth waiting for in most cases, though. And even an active Barron could split time with Vince Williams.
The Steelers have ruled ILB Mark Barron out for Sunday night's game against the Chargers. Vince Williams will play in his place and carries solid IDP upside.
Steelers ILB Mark Barron left Sunday's game early with a hamstring injury. We'll see about his availability for the Week 6 visit to the Chargers. Barron's absence helped Vince Williams stay on the field long enough to collect a team-high 9 tackles, a sack and a pass breakup. Williams would likely start in Barron's place if te latter can't go next Sunday night.
Rams LB Mark Barron (Achilles') is active for today's game against the Seahawks. He's set to start in his season debut after missing the 1st 4 games -- and all summer. If you've waited, he's available. But we'd prefer to wait a week before using him in an IDP lineup.
