Fantasy Football News

Eagles QB Jalen Hurts will miss Sunday's game against the Panthers because of a blood clot in his calf. The injury originated in the Week 4 loss to the Rams, and the team says the blood clot was found via ultrasound ahead of last Sunday's game in London.

Bears QB Caleb Williams (hamstring) was a full-go in Wednesday's practice. He's on track to return for this weekend's game vs. the Falcons. Williams will carry some re-injury risk coming off the hamstring and might not offer the same rushing upside as usual. But he still lands inside our top 10 QBs for Week 6.

Bears RB Kyle Monangai (thumb, toe) did not practice on Wednesday. It's looking like he'll miss his second straight game this weekend as he battles turf toe. RB D'Andre Swift is off this week's injury report after appearing with hip and knee issues last week. He should be in for plenty of work vs. the Falcons on Sunday.

Seahawks RB Zach Charbonnet (knee) is out for Thursday night's game vs. the Broncos. He's been practicing for a couple of weeks now, and ESPN's Jeremy Fowler wrote earlier today that Charbonnet has "legitimate chance" to make his season debut in Week 7 against the Chiefs. He remains a nice stash as a potential asset over the second half of the season. Emanuel Wilson gets another game as lead back vs. Denver.

Cowboys WR CeeDee Lamb (thigh) was a full participant in Wednesday's practice. He was hobbled by a quad bruise in the second half of Thursday night's loss to the Buccaneers, but it looks like he'll be ready for his usual role vs. the Packers on Sunday night.

Bills WR D.J. Moore (shoulder) was listed as a non-participant on Wednesday's injury report. It's an estimation, as Buffalo only held a walkthrough coming off their overtime win on Monday night. But it's still not a good start for Moore's chances of returning for Week 6. We'll update his status again tomorrow.

Cardinals RB Jeremiyah Love (ankle) did not practice on Wednesday, and it sounds like the team is considering holding him out of this weekend'd game vs. the Rams.

Chargers WRs Ladd McConkey (foot) and Quentin Johnston (chest) were limited in Wednesday's practice. It's an upgrade for McConkey, who missed practice all last week before being active but not playing a single snap vs. Denver. Johnston got in 3 limited practices last week before missing the Broncos game. WR Tre Harris (hamstring) did not practice on Wednesday, while WRs Brenen Thompson (quad), Marquez Valdes-Scantling (rib), and KeAndre Lambert-Smith (hamstring) were limited. We'll keep you updated on the league's most injured WR corps over the next few days.

Texans WR Marvin Harrison Jr. will play vs. the Jaguars in London this weekend, HC DeMeco Ryans said. But Ryans also conceded that Harrison will not be ready for a full workload. "We’ll have set plays and make sure it’s as easy as possible for him to get lined up so he can play fast," Ryans said. "Don’t expect him to come out and play all 60 snaps in a game. But we’ll make sure he gets what he needs, and make sure he’s confident in what we need him to do." Harrison arrived in Houston on Monday and will have just 3 practices with his new team before Sunday's game. We'll see exactly how much he plays against Jacksonville, but he can't be trusted in Week 6 fantasy lineups.

Chiefs WR Rashee Rice (hamstring, knee) did not practice on Wednesday. “We'll see how it goes," HC Andy Reid said of Rice's Week 6 status. "He's actually feeling pretty good as he goes here, but we'll see. Those things, you start dealing with hamstrings, could be a week, could be two weeks. You don't know. But I know he's eager to get back in." It sounds like Rice is more likely than not to miss this weekend's game vs. the Chargers, but we'll keep you posted on his status over the next few days.

Eagles WR DeVonta Smith (hamstring) did not practice on Wednesday. We were projecting Smith to return for this weekend's game vs. the Panthers after he was working off to the side of practice late last week, but this isn't a good start. We'll see if Smith practices tomorrow. The Eagles did get WR Marquise Brown (ankle) back to a limited practice today. He's been out since Week 2.

Eagles RB Saquon Barkley (hamstring) did not practice on Wednesday. He's trending toward missing another game. With RBs Tank Bigsby and Will Shipley also out, Philadelphia could be down to RB Dameon Pierce atop the depth chart against Carolina. Pierce lands 25th in our current Week 6 RB rankings.

Buccaneers QB Baker Mayfield (thumb) remained sidelined for Wednesday's practice. He's missed 2 games so far with an injury that was expected to cost him at least 3 weeks. QB Jalon Daniels figures to make at least one more start this Sunday vs. the Steelers.

Steelers RB Rico Dowdle (toe) remained limited in practice Wednesday. He was limited all last week before missing the Colts game. We're tentatively expecting Dowdle to play vs. the Buccaneers this weekend but will keep you updated on his status. Dowdle won't be a recommended fantasy start in his first game back, but his return would dent RB Jaylen Warren's fantasy value.

Panthers WR Jalen Coker (quad) was a full participant in Wednesday's practice. He's on track to return for this weekend's game vs. the Eagles. Philadelphia has allowed the most fantasy points to the slot, where Coker has run 45% of his routes this season.

Patriots RB TreVeyon Henderson (ankle) was listed as a limited participant in Wednesday's practice. It's a big surprise after Tuesday's report that Henderson suffered a high-ankle sprain in Week 5. That was either an erroneous report, or Henderson has the mildest high-ankle sprain of all time. We'll keep you updated on his status over the next few weeks. At minimum, it looks like he'll avoid a multi-week absence.

Jets WR Omar Cooper (ankle) was designated to return from IR and got in a limited practice on Wednesday. The rookie won primary slot duties heading into Week 1 and should return to a significant role once healthy. He's not on the Week 6 radar but is a fine stash in deeper leagues.

Jets TE Kenyon Sadiq (concussion) got in a limited practice on Wednesday. That gives him a chance to clear protocol ahead of Sunday's game vs. the Patriots. We'll keep you posted on Sadiq's progress, but he's fallen out of TE1 consideration for now with Mason Taylor back for New York.

Browns RB Quinshon Judkins (ankle) did not practice on Wednesday. His injury reportedly isn't serious, but his availability for this weekend's game vs. the Ravens is in question. RB Dylan Sampson (knee) was also sidelined on Wednesday, despite being designated to return from IR. With RB Raheim Sanders (hip) on IR, Cleveland is down to Jaleel McLaughlin and Audric Estime as the healthy RBs on the active roster.

Browns WR KC Concepcion (concussion) got in a limited practice on Wednesday. He's made some progress through the protocol and has a shot to play vs. the Ravens this weekend. We'll keep you updated on Concepcion's status over the next few days.
