Patriots WR Romeo Doubs was quiet early in training camp, but he excelled yesterday catching all 5 targets in a seven-on-seven session. What may be more interesting is Doubs' role in the Josh McDaniels offense. According to Patriots.com’s Evan Lazar, Doubs’ primary role will be from the “inside” instead of the X outside WR he played on the Packers. That big slot role could open up easier targets for Doubs, giving him weekly fantasy upside if he's on the same page as QB Drake Maye.

The offseason arrival of OC Pete Carmichael sparked plenty of speculation that we'd see more receiving work for Buffalo RBs in 2026. Training camp has supported that notion so far.

Jaguars WR Parker Washington has been a daily standout in training camp, drawing praise from coaches and media alike. He looks primed to open the season as Jacksonville's best target bet.

You'd be forgiven if you didn't even realize that the Panthers have been playing TEs each year. The team hasn't ranked higher than 27th in total tight end PPR points since 2019. That was Greg Olsen's last year with the team; he finished 13th among TEs in total PPR points and 17th in points per game. So will any Carolina TE reach fantasy relevance this year? The Patriots plan to increase their offensive pace this season, which will be their second under OC Josh McDaniels (for his latest stint, that is). Last year's offense ranked third-slowest in the league at 30.6 seconds per play. They ranked 24th in 2021 (29.6 seconds), McDaniels' previous most recent Pats season. Before that came a No. 20 ranking in 2020 after eight straight seasons of finishing inside the top 12:

Albert Breer of Sports Illustrated writes that the Rams think TE Terrance Ferguson could "grow into one of the NFL's best tight ends." Per Breer, Ferguson put together a "fantastic offseason," showcasing the versatility to play multiple alignments and the run-after-catch skills the Rams covet.

Chiefs WRs Xavier Worthy and Cyrus Allen left Saturday's training camp practice with injuries, but neither is serious. NFL Network's Ian Rapoport hears that Worthy hurt a shoulder but "is believed to be OK." Allen, meanwhile, has been diagnosed with a shin bruise, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter. We'll see when these guys are able to get back on the practice field, but it doesn't sound like either is in danger of missing the start of the season. Worthy remains primed to open as Kansas City's No. 2 WR, while Allen seems to be making a strong push for the No. 4 spot on the depth chart behind Rashee Rice, Worthy, and Tyquan Thornton.

Packers TE Tucker Kraft returned to practice this week, less than nine months after surgery to repair a torn ACL and partially torn LCL and meniscus in his right knee. Kraft said his doctors told him his knee looks like it's more than a year removed from surgery. "[The doctor] told me my knee looks spectacular, almost like he had never seen rehabilitation like mine," he said. "So the fact that we're getting those results, the data will speak for itself and my comeback is ever-ascending day by day."

ESPN's Adam Schefter reports that the Chiefs are "evaluating" a shoulder injury for WR Xavier Worthy.

Niners WR Ricky Pearsall will have surgery to repair the PCL in his right knee and will miss the season, the team announced Saturday.

Multiple Seahawks observers credited second-year TE Elijah Arroyo with a standout performance in Friday's workouts. His most celebrated catch came from third-string QB Jalen Milroe, but it doesn't sound like we should take that as a signal that Arroyo's buried on the depth chart.

Tennessee returns Tony Pollard and Tyjae Spears to an offense that ranked just 30th in rushing yards and 28th in total RB PPR points last season. The Titans added RB Nicholas Singleton out of Penn State in Round 5. So how should we expect that trio to fit together in the first season under HC Robert Saleh and OC Brian Daboll?

Chiefs WR Cyrus Allen collided with CB Kaiir Elam as a gunner on special teams and was carted off with an apparent left knee injury, according to ESPN's Nate Taylor. Allen left with his jersey over his face. The injury looked serious, but was later revealed to be a shin bruise. Allen had been tearing up early in training camp, generating buzz about a potential role as the Chiefs No. 3 WR. He had been earning the trust of Patrick Mahomes.

Seahawks WR Tory Horton avoided the PUP list to open training camp after a cracked tibia cost him the final nine regular-season games and the playoffs. Horton told ESPN’s Brady Henderson that he first felt the injury in Week 3, and it only worsened from there. He underwent surgery in February to have a rod implanted in his leg but is a full go for the start of training camp.

Chiefs WR Rashee Rice has been leaving training camp practice early each day for knee rehab, according to Ron Kopp Jr. of Arrowhead Pride. Rice had knee surgery in May, followed by a 30-day jail sentence for violating probation. Kopp also relayed a video of Rice running a post (against no defenders) and it looked…less than stellar. Rice’s slow foot speed and lumbering movement wouldn’t beat any NFL CB in man coverage. He is clearly still recovering from his injury and surgery.

Seahawks beat writer Gregg Bell expects new OC Brian Fleury to "feature" the RBs more prominently in the passing game this season. Seattle RBs saw a combined 14% target share last year, sixth-lowest league-wide.

ESPN’s Ryan McFadden writes that “Brock Bowers' connection has looked strong” with QB Kirk Cousins. HC Klint Kubiak named Cousins his starter heading into training camp.

Packers TE Tucker Kraft is off the PUP list and will practice on Friday, HC Matt LaFleur said. Kraft missed just a few days of training camp coming off November's ACL and LCL injuries. He's close to nine months removed from surgery and is seemingly on track to play Week 1.

Cowboys RB Jaydon Blue generated plenty of buzz from coaches and beat writers this spring. He's kept that momentum rolling into camp, making big plays in the run and pass games while mixing in with the first-team offense.

Chargers beat writer Daniel Popper writes that QB Justin Herbert is "finding his rhythm" in new OC Mike McDaniel's offense.
