        Justin Jefferson Out Again Thursday

Vikings WR Justin Jefferson (ankle) missed his second straight practice on Thursday. He hasn't been ruled out for this weekend's game vs. the Dolphins, but it now seems more likely than not that he misses that one. We're removing Jefferson from our Week 4 rankings for now. His absence would leave Minnesota thin at pass catcher. WR Jordan Addison would be the best bet for targets, with WR Jauan Jennings and TE T.J. Hockenson potentially playing increased roles. QB Kyler Murray's outlook takes a significant hit sans Jefferson.

        Rachaad White Out Again Thursday

Commanders RB Rachaad White (shoulder) missed his second straight practice on Thursday. Although he played through this issue last week, he's seemingly in danger of missing Sunday morning's game vs. the Colts. White has handled 24% of Washington's carries and 9% of the targets through 3 weeks. If he's unable to go, we could see newly signed RB Austin Ekeler play on Sunday.

Zay Flowers Back To Full-Go Thursday

Ravens WR Zay Flowers (hamstring) was upgraded to full participation in Thursday's practice. Flowers was clearly on a pitch count last week, playing just 21 snaps (33%). He still delivered a 5-84-0 receiving line and is now at an absurd 9.4 yards per route on the season. It looks like Flowers is ready for a full-time role vs. the Titans this weekend, making him an elite fantasy play.

        Travis Etienne To IR

The Saints are placing RB Travis Etienne on IR with his hamstring injury, HC Kellen Moore said Thursday. Etienne is out for at least the next 4 games. That extends to New Orleans' Week 8 bye, so Week 9 is the earliest we'll see Etienne again.

Brandin Cooks To 49ers' Active Roster

The 49ers are elevating WR Brandin Cooks to the active roster, ESPN's Nick Wagoner reports. San Francisco continues to be ravaged by WR injuries, with Mike Evans (ribs) and KhaDarel Hodge (knee) iffy for Week 4 and potentially beyond. Cooks joins Deebo Samuel, Jacob Cowing, and Jordan Watkins as the healthy WRs on the active roster. The 33-year-old Cooks is no longer fit to be an offensive focal point, but he's a reliable veteran who could help the Niners passing game. We'll keep an eye on his role, but Cooks shouldn't be in Week 4 fantasy lineups and is only worth stashing in deep fantasy leagues.

        Update: Hodge has been released.

        D'Andre Swift Sidelined Thursday

Bears RB D'Andre Swift was added to the injury report with a knee and did not practice on Thursday. We don't have any other details at this point. We'll look for updates and see if Swift gets back on the practice field tomorrow. His absence would turn Kyle Monangai into a feature back and fantasy must-start against the Jets. He tallied 198 total yards on 29 touches when Swift missed Week 9 last year.

Mike Evans Iffy For Week 4

49ers GM John Lynch conceded on Thursday morning that WR Mike Evans (ribs) is iffy for this weekend's game vs. the Broncos. "He is old school in his mindset and he doesn’t want to miss," Lynch said. "Mike will make every attempt and we’ll see where that goes." We'll keep you updated on Evans' status over the next few days, but fantasy managers should be making other plans for Week 4. Evans' absence would leave the Niners down to Deebo Samuel, Jacob Cowing, and Jordan Watkins as the healthy WRs on the active roster. WR KhaDarel Hodge missed Wednesday's practice with a knee injury. WRs Brandin Cooks and Dante Pettis are on the practice squad. TE George Kittle and RB Christian McCaffrey could play even bigger roles than usual against Denver.

Zack Baun's Week 4 Status in Doubt

The Eagles listed LB Zack Baun as a non-participant for Wednesday's practice because of a concussion. Philly's designations were estimated because the team did only a walkthrough in the wake of Monday night's loss at Chicago. The shortened week, however, also leaves less time for Baun to advance through the concussion protocol and make it back for Sunday's home date with the Rams.

        Mike Evans Out Wednesday

49ers WR Mike Evans (ribs) did not practice on Wednesday. He's considered "day to day," NFL Network's Ian Rapoport said earlier this week, but Evans isn't a lock to play vs. the Broncos on Sunday. WR KhaDarel Hodge, who was the primary replacement for Evans last week, also missed Wednesday's practice with a knee issue.

        Keaton Mitchell Limited Wednesday

Chargers RB Keaton Mitchell (ankle) was limited in Wednesday's practice. He was spotted in a walking boot on his left foot in the locker room but said he was ok, per ESPN's Kris Rhim. We'll keep an eye on Mitchell's status, but the fact that he practiced today should have him on track to play vs. the Seahawks this weekend.

Terrance Ferguson & Colby Parkinson Out Wednesday

Rams TEs Terrance Ferguson (ankle) and TE Colby Parkinson (knee, shoulder) were sidelined for Wednesday's practice. Ferguson is expected to miss this weekend's game vs. the Eagles, and Parkinson might join him on the inactive list. That'd leave Tyler Higbee as the Rams' top TE, but the matchup vs. the Eagles and the return of WR Puka Nacua would still leave him short of TE1 appeal.

        Caleb Williams Still Out Wednesday

Bears QB Caleb Williams (hamstring) remained sidelined on Wednesday. He's unlikely to make it back for this weekend's game vs. the Jets. HC Ben Johnson said he knows what "direction" he's going at QB this week but didn't give any more clues. QB Case Keenum played well in Monday night's win over the Eagles, but Johnson pointed out afterward that QB Tyson Bagent won the No. 2 job in camp. We're tentatively projecting Bagent to start vs. the Jets but will keep you posted on the situation.

Jalen Coker & Xavier Legette Out Wednesday

Panthers WR Jalen Coker (quad) did not practice on Wednesday. He reportedly dodged a serious injury last week, but we're not expecting him to play vs. the Lions on Sunday night. WR Xavier Legette (knee) was also sidelined on Wednesday after missing last week's game. Carolina could be down to Brycen Tremayne as No. 2 WR against Detroit.

Jaylen Wright Gets In Limited Practice Wednesday

Dolphins RB Jaylen Wright (stinger, foot) was limited in Wednesday's practice. He missed last week, but the Wednesday practice gives him a shot to return for this weekend's game vs. the Vikings. Ollie Gordon dominated backfield work by necessity last week after De'Von Achane exited, but this figures to be a committee backfield on a bad offense when Wright is healthy.

The limited workout today should have Irving on track to play vs. the Packers this weekend, but we'll keep you updated on his status.

He'll carry elevated risk but also tons of upside if he plays this weekend.
