CBS' Jason La Canfora reports that Lions RB Reggie Bush will miss Sunday's game at Arizona with his injured ankle. Bush had been listed as questionable, so it's not a shocking development, and the early decision helps fantasy owners. RB Theo Riddick now becomes a nice upside play in PPR leagues, while Joique Bell faces less competition for carries in a poor matchup. Don't stick Bush in a fantasy lineup until he proves he can make it through a full game.

Reggie Bush is "considered the favorite" for the Bills' #2 RB job, according to ESPN's Mike Rodak. Bush was the 2nd RB into Saturday's preseason game, losing a yard on his 1 carry. RB Mike Gillislee later suffered a concussion. Buffalo's run-heavy offense figures to grant Bush a handful of carries per game, and we'll see how much passing-down work he steals from LeSean McCoy. But Bush is 31 now and has been ineffective the past 2 seasons. We're not very interested in him in fantasy drafts. Rookie Jonathan Williams could make a push for the #2 job later this year.

The Bills and RB Reggie Bush are finalizing a 1-year contract, according to insider Jason La Canfora. Bush's 2015 season with the 49ers ended on November 1 with a torn MCL. He's 31 now and has averaged just 3.9 yards per carry and 6.2 yards per catch over the past 2 years. Bush is no more than a change-of-pace option at this point -- and it's unclear whether he'll be effective even in that role. He's no threat to RB LeSean McCoy's workload and will need to beat out Mike Gillislee and Jonathan Williams for the #2 RB job while Karlos Williams serves his 4-game suspension.

ESPN's Adam Schefter reports that 49ers RB Reggie Bush will miss the rest of the season with a torn MCL suffered in Sunday's loss to the Rams.  It's at least better for his 2016 outlook than the previously reported torn ACL.  Still, Bush turns 31 in March and had already lost a few steps.  He doesn't figure to draw much interest in free agency this offseason.

49ers RB Reggie Bush is believed to have a torn ACL, according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport.  He'll undergo an MRI to confirm.  It'd obviously end Bush's season and also put his career on the ropes.  Bush had already lost a few steps and turns 31 in March.

49ers RB Reggie Bush injured his left leg on a punt return in the 1st quarter of Sunday's game.  He had to be carted off and won't return.  Already without RB Carlos Hyde, the Niners are now left with only RBs Mike Davis and Kendall Gaskins.
