Poz OUT | Shark Bites | Draft Sharks

Jaguars MLB Paul Posluszny is inactive for today's game against the Bucs. That comes as no surprised after he suffered an ankle sprain last week. It was more surprising that he showed up questionable on the final injury report. Jaguars weak-side LB Telvin Smith makes for 1 of the position's strongest fantasy plays this week.

Doctors have cleared Jaguars MLB Paul Posluszny to return to practice Wednesday after he missed Sunday's game following surgery on his broken hand. That points to him returning to play in Week 15 against the Falcons. Poz belongs in IDP lineups when he's active.

The Jaguars have ruled MLB Paul Posluszny out for Sunday's game against the Colts because of the broken hand he had repaired earlier this week. That leaves 2nd-year player Jordan Tripp to make his 1st career start in Poz's place.

Jaguars MLB Paul Posluszny had surgery Tuesday on his broken right hand, according to Jacksonville.com, but the team still hopes that he'll be able to play Sunday against the Colts. We'll see as we head toward the weekend. If Poz is active, we'd be willing to use him with the club likely to be covering his right hand.

Jaguars MLB Paul Posluszny broke his right hand late in Sunday's loss to Tennessee. According to The Associated Press, the team is "continuing to evaluate" options for the veteran and that the Jags don't know yet how much time he will miss -- if any. HC Gus Bradley said Jordan Tripp would step in at MLB if Poz can't play against the Colts on Sunday.

ESPN's Mike DiRocco reports that Jaguars MLB Paul Posluszny expects to play Sunday against Houston. DiRocco called the veteran a "nearly full" participant in Thursday's practice and said that Poz reported "no problems" with the sprained right ankle that cost him Week 5. Assuming there's no setback between now and Sunday, you should go ahead and stick Posluszny back in your IDP lineup.
