NJ Advance Media's Eliot Shorr-Parks believes Nelson Agholor "should be the Eagles' top targeted receiver on offense this season." We always take beat-writer projections with a big grain of salt. But it's certainly worth noting that Shorr-Parks highlights Agholor as 1 of the team's most improved players early in camp. (And that's coming off a 62-768-8 campaign.) "Agholor has been close to unstoppable during the team drills at training camp," Shorr-Parks writes. "His damage has been done all over the field. He has worked the middle of the field. He has gotten behind the Eagles' defense. He has turned short catches into long gains." Agholor spent time with Hall-of-Famer Randy Moss this offseason and has displayed stronger hands and a bigger catch radius. With WR Alshon Jeffery still recovering from shoulder surgery, there's at least opportunity for Agholor to open the season as Philly's top WR. He's a fine value at his 9th-round ADP.
WR Nelson Agholor said he’s feeling more comfortable entering year 2 as a Patriot. “Whereas a year ago, I was learning, so you do things at a certain learning tempo,” Agholor said. “You never get to go full speed, because you want to make sure you're doing it right, so you kind of move with caution. Now I know what it looks like and I get to just put my flavor on it.” The veteran signed a 2 year deal worth $22 million last March but posted only 37-473-3 on a 12.2% target share. With the Pats adding DeVante Parker and 2nd-round rookie Tyquan Thornton, odds are Agholor will remain off the fantasy radar.
Patriots WR Nelson Agholor (concussion) is out for Sunday’s game vs. the Jaguars. Jakobi Meyers, Kendrick Bourne and N’Keal Harry will again operate as New England’s top 3 WRs.
Patriots WR Nelson Agholor (concussion) is out for Sunday's game vs. the Bills. WR Kendrick Bourne remains on the COVID list and is unlikely to play this weekend. WR N'Keal Harry (hip) is listed as questionable after a limited week of practice. He figures to start if he's able to play on Sunday. But WR Jakobi Meyers and TE Hunter Henry will likely be the focal points of New England's passing game.
Patriots WR Nelson Agholor (ankle) is active for today’s game vs. the Dolphins. He only got in 2 limited practices this week, so he figures to be operating at less than 100%. Agholor isn’t a recommended Week 1 fantasy starter.
Patriots WR Nelson Agholor (ankle) is listed as questionable for this weekend’s opener vs. the Dolphins. He was limited on Wednesday, sidelined on Thursday and limited again on Friday. If Agholor plays, he’ll be doing so at less than 100%. Avoid him in Week 1 fantasy lineups.
