Lions WR Marvin Jones made his preseason debut against the Bills on Friday night. He was sidelined for at least a week of practice in mid-August with knee trouble, but that doesn't appear to be an issue any longer. Jones is a fine value at his 9th-round, WR43 ADP.
Lions WR Marvin Jones (knee) isn’t listed on the final injury report. He was sidelined on Wednesday, limited on Thursday and a full-go on Friday. So the knee isn’t a real concern heading into this weekend’s game against the Falcons. But Jones has done nothing so far this season to earn a spot in your fantasy lineup.
Lions WR Marvin Jones (knee) returned to a limited practice on Thursday. That gives him a shot to play against the Falcons this weekend. We'll get another update on Jones tomorrow.
Lions WR Marvin Jones (knee) didn't practice on Wednesday. We haven't heard anything about this knee issue. Jones has been brutal this season, averaging just 29 yards per game. Even if he plays in Sunday's plus matchup vs. Atlanta, he can't be trusted in fantasy lineups.
Lions WR Marvin Jones has been placed on IR with an ankle injury suffered near the end of Sunday's loss to the Vikings. He ends the 2019 campaign with a 62-779-9 line -- although 6 of those scores came in 2 games. Turning 30 in March, Jones should be back as Detroit's #2 WR next year. WR Chris Lacy is next up on the Lions' depth chart for the rest of this season, but he's not a realistic fantasy option. Jones' absence should just mean more targets for WRs Kenny Golladay and Danny Amendola.
Lions WR Marvin Jones has missed the last week of practice with knee trouble and won't play in the 2nd preseason game, the Detroit Press' Dave Birkett reports. Jones, of course, missed the final 7 games of last year with a knee injury that required surgery. "Again we’re just trying to take some time off to make sure we’re being smart with it in the situation," HC Matt Patricia said Thursday. This has become a situation to monitor. Hopefully Jones can play in Detroit's 3rd exhibition.
