The Bears on Tuesday placed DL Akiem Hicks on IR. NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reports that Hicks had been getting opinions on the elbow he injured in their Week 5 loss to the Raiders over Chicago's bye. Even if he's a candidate to be designated to return, that wouldn't come until the end of the regular season. So IDP owners should certainly drop Hicks from redraft rosters. His absence hurts the team D outlook as well, while leaving snaps available for players such as Nick Williams and Roy Robertson-Harris.
Bears DL Akiem Hicks (hamstring) is active for today's game against the Lions. He carries some re-injury risk but also plenty of upside against a sluggish Detroit offense still missing RB D'Andre Swift and lead WR Kenny Golladay.
Bears DE Akiem Hicks (hamstring) is questionable for Sunday's game against the Lions. We'll check his status Sunday morning.
Bears DL Akiem Hicks (hamstring) is questionable for Sunday night's game against the Packers. Chicago has called him a game-time decision. The late kickoff and low-ceiling scoring matchup vs. Green Bay makes Hicks not worth waiting on for most IDP lineups.
Bears DL Akiem Hicks left Monday night's game against the Vikings with a hamstring injury and is doubtful to return. He'll get a Week 11 bye to rest it. We'll see how Hicks looks for Week 12.
