The Eagles have placed WR DeSean Jackson (abdomen) on IR. He'd be eligible to return if Philly reaches the Divisional Round of the playoffs, but his fantasy season is over. A healthy D-Jax proved there's still plenty of gas in his tank with an 8-154-2 line back in Week 1, but staying healthy has proved increasingly difficult for the 32-year-old. The Eagles will move forward with a sluggish WR corps of Alshon Jeffery, Nelson Agholor and Mack Hollins.

Recent Shark Bites

NFL Network's Mike Garafolo reports that Eagles WR DeSean Jackson suffered a non-displaced fracture to his right ankle in Thursday night's loss to the Giants -- a "similar injury" to that suffered by teammate Dallas Goedert. Jackson's expected to miss 6-8 weeks. Garafolo reports that he's "highly motivated to get back this year and next." With just 9 weeks remaining in the fantasy football regular season for most leagues, though, you can drop Jackson. The injury extends the window for WR Travis Fulgham to maintain his role. We'll see about the upcoming returns of other Eagles pass-catchers.

The Eagles believe WR DeSean Jackson suffered a high-ankle sprain in Thursday night's win over the Giants, according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport. D-Jax is getting an MRI on Friday to confirm. He figures to miss multiple weeks with this latest injury and is droppable in fantasy leagues.

Update: Jackson has been placed on IR, so he'll miss at least the next 3 games.

Eagles WR DeSean Jackson left in the 4th quarter of Thursday night's game against the Giants with an injury to his right leg. Jackson's leg got stuck underneath him and twisted on a late hit during a punt return. We'll see about the severity of the injury, but Jackson left the field with the help of 2 trainers while putting no weight on his right foot.

Eagles WR DeSean Jackson (hamstring) isn't listed on the final Week 7 injury report after putting in a full practice on Wednesday. He'll return for Thursday night's game against the Giants after missing the past 3 weeks. Ideally you can wait to see D-Jax make it through a game healthy before throwing him back into fantasy lineups. But he has big-play upside whenever he's out there, so he's a fine Week 7 flier.

ESPN's Adam Schefter reports that the Eagles expect to get WR DeSean Jackson back for Thursday night's game against the Giants. Jackson is out for today's game against the Ravens, which will be his 3rd straight contest lost to a hamstring injury. We'll watch practice reports on Jackson heading into Week 7, but he should be in fantasy consideration for that matchup. The return of any deep threat can only help the fantasy outlook for QB Carson Wentz.
