Vernon OUT vs. Bengals

Browns DE Olivier Vernon (knee) is inactive for today's game against the Bengals. He barely played in last week's return from a 3-game absence for the injury, so Vernon's knee clearly wasn't ready. DE Chad Thomas is the upside IDP play on the Cleveland D-line.

Browns DE Olivier Vernon suffered a ruptured Achilles' tendon in Sunday's win over the Steelers. He'll obviously miss the playoffs and face a challenging offseason rehab. It's particularly poor timing with Vernon set to hit free agency in March -- at age 30. We'll see what 2021 holds.
