Shark Bites

NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reports that Falcons WR Calvin Ridley will miss the rest of the season with the abdominal injury he suffered in Sunday's win over the Panthers. That leaves playing time and targets available for WRs Russell Gage and Christian Blake, though a Week 15 trip to San Francisco leaves us unexcited. A home date with Jacksonville in Week 16 looks more attractive, as does a Week 17 trip to Tampa Bay if your league plays that long.

Recent Shark Bites

Falcons WR Calvin Ridley recently underwent "minor" foot surgery, according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport. "A little cleanup," Rapoport adds. Ridley won't participate in minicamp but is expected to be ready for the start of training camp. We'll keep an eye on him.

Falcons WR Calvin Ridley got his left ankle twisted on a 3rd-quarter catch against the Raiders on Sunday. We'll pass along an update on his status when we get one.

Update: Ridley was able to return after missing just 1 play.

Falcons WR Calvin Ridley (foot) was limited in practice all week but isn’t listed on the final injury report. So he’ll be back for Sunday’s game against the Saints — and should be locked back into fantasy lineups. Ridley’s return is also good news for QB Matt Ryan.

Falcons WR Calvin Ridley (foot) remained limited on Thursday. "There's a chance" he's back for this weekend's game against the Saints, according to the team's official website. We'll get another update on Ridley tomorrow.

Falcons WR Calvin Ridley (foot) was listed as a limited participant in Wednesday's practice. According to the team's official website, Ridley only did some "light running." He remains iffy for this weekend's game vs. the Saints. We'll get another update tomorrow.
