Titans WR Adam Humphries (ankle) is active for today's AFC Championship against the Chiefs after a limited week of practice. It'll be his 1st action since Week 13. Kansas City has been more giving to slot receivers than outside guys this season, so it's a decent matchup for Humphries. He's in play as a cheap DFS flier.
Washington WR Adam Humphries has been a "favorite target" for QB Ryan Fitzpatrick early in camp, according The Athletic's Rhiannon Walker. It's worth noting that WR Curtis Samuel has been sidelined with his groin injury. But earlier reports had Humphries as the likely starting slot receiver, with Samuel joining Terry McLaurin on the outside. Humphries has missed 13 games over the past 2 seasons but did catch 76, 61 and 55 balls over the preceding 3 seasons in Tampa. And some of that came with Fitzpatrick under center. We'd still bet against Humphries becoming a real fantasy factor in an offense with McLaurin, Samuel, TE Logan Thomas and RBs Antonio Gibson and J.D. McKissic. But he's at least worth monitoring over the next month.
Washington signed WR Adam Humphries to a 1-year deal. COVID and a concussion limited the 27-year-old to just 7 games with the Titans in 2020. His best season came in Tampa back in 2018, when new Washington QB Ryan Fitzpatrick started 7 games. It's unclear exactly how Humphries fits in his new digs alongside Curtis Samuel. Both of those guys are primarily slot receivers.
Titans WR Adam Humphries has cleared the concussion protocol and will return for Sunday’s game against the Browns. He’s averaged 4.4 catches on 5.8 targets over 5 healthy games this season and could be a bit busier this weekend with TE Jonnu Smith out. Still, Humphries is a low-upside PPR play.
Titans WR Adam Humphries (concussion) is out for Sunday's game against the Bears. He averaged 5.8 targets in 5 healthy games this season, so his absence opens up a meaningful amount of volume for A.J. Brown, Corey Davis and Jonnu Smith.
Titans WR Adam Humphries exited after taking a hit to the head in the 2nd quarter of Sunday's game against the Bengals. He was able to stand and get himself on the cart to leave the field. We'll pass along an update on his status when we get one.
