Harrison out with knee injury

Browns S Ronnie Harrison left Sunday's game against the Eagles with a knee injury and will not return. He got back onto the field briefly after originally suffering the injury but then left again.

Browns S Ronnie Harrison (knee) is inactive for today's game against the Ravens. Cleveland will also miss CB Greg Newsome, who suffered a concussion at the end of Friday's practice. Grant Delpit and Greedy Williams will enter the starting lineup in their places. DT Malik Jackson (knee) is active.

Doctors determined Monday morning that Browns S Ronnie Harrison did not actually suffer a concussion in Sunday's win at Minnesota, according to Scott Petrak of the Chronicle-Telegram. Harrison left after just 2 snaps and initially entered the concussion protocol. He should now be ready to begin Week 5 practices on time.

That follows closely behind the team placing safeties Karl Joseph and Andrew Sendejo on the COVID list. So expect Harrison to jump back into the starting lineup for this game. In his previous 3 games of full duty, Harrison posted 8, 10 and 6 tackles and broke up a pass in each. He also hit up the Colts for a pick-6 plus a 2nd pass defensed in the game before that span. He'll carry upside against the Mason Rudolph Steelers this week -- especially with LB B.J. Goodson also sidelined with COVID, raising the tackle upside.
