For a while now, the Colts have been rumored as a potential landing spot for veteran WR Keenan Allen. That finally came to fruition late Monday night, when the sides agreed to a one-year deal worth up to $8.32 million according to multiple reports.

Bears RB Kyle Monangai is expected to miss "multiple weeks" after hyperextending his right knee in Sunday's practice, ESPN's Jeremy Fowler reports.

After missing a little over a week with a sore knee, Seahawks RB Jadarian Price returned to practice Monday and took "the majority of the reps with the 1s," per insider Brian Nemhauser.

SNY's Connor Hughes reports that further testing confirmed Jets RB Breece Hall's groin injury is minor. Hughes added, "They’ll be cautious with him, but it’s weeks, not months."

Broncos WR Jaylen Waddle returned to practice Monday after missing 11 days with what HC Sean Payton called tightness in his left leg. Waddle wore a sleeve on that leg, per DNVR's Zac Stevens, but still participated in full-team work. Stevens added, "It did not seem like he had any limitations."

After initially not receiving a timetable for Jordyn Tyson’s return from a hamstring injury, it’s now reported that he’s expected to miss time “... deep into September,” per Saints beat reporter Nick Underhill. While the Saints haven’t officially placed him on injured reserve, Underhill says it’s possible as the team continues to evaluate his injury.

Less than a week following a practice where Malik Nabers left with a doctor just an hour into it, we’re getting reports that Nabers is back to taking positive strides in his rehab process. Art Stapleton of USA Today reported that “Malik Nabers took another significant step forward with live reps in 7-on-7, catching three passes from Jaxson Dart, including one on which he went up and spun in the air in traffic for about a 20-yard gain.”

We haven’t even reached the first regular season of the Josh Allen-DJ Moore connection, and it’s already paying off for the offense. Bills beat reporter Matt Parrino said, “The chemistry is way ahead of schedule. From the jump. Like, his catch percentage is around 90% from the summer.” He later added, “He’s had the highlight-reel plays of camp.”

Buccaneers WR Emeka Egbuka may be in danger of missing the start of the regular season due to a sprained toe he suffered last week. HC Todd Bowles was asked about Egbuka’s Week 1 availability, and he wasn't sure at this time, labeling Egbuka day to day or week to week.

The Titans started RB Tony Pollard in their preseason opener, as expected. But he didn't work as the clear backfield leader. Tyjae Spears mixed in on the team's first possession, matched Pollard at 4 carries, ran seven pass routes to Pollard's five, and drew the only target between them before both guys left the game.

Jets RB Breece Hall left Monday morning's practice with an apparent lower-body injury. Early indications point to an issue in the groin area, but we'll watch for further details.

Update: HC Aaron Glenn downplayed the severity after practice, telling reporters, "I don't think it was a big deal." The RB will get further evaluation, of course. We'll see what else the team has to say.

The Dolphins announced Monday that they have activated WR Chris Bell from the non-football injury list. The third-round pick opened camp with that designation while working back from the knee injury that ended his final college season in November.

The news keeps getting worse for Cardinals RB Jeremiyah Love. ESPN's Adam Schefter reports that the rookie has been diagnosed with a high-ankle sprain. "It makes it unlikely that Love plays again this preseason, with the team hoping he can return for the Sept. 13 regular-season opener vs the Chargers," Schefter adds.

Packers TE Tucker Kraft participated in full-team drills in Sunday's practice for the first time since last November's ACL tear. But the bigger story was what he told the media afterward about the potential for him to be on a snap count for the first half of the season.

Bears RB Kyle Monangai suffered a right knee injury in Sunday's practice, according to insider Adam Hoge. Monangai didn't need a cart but walked off the field "very gingerly," per Hoge. Fortunately, ESPN's Adam Schefter reports that initial tests on the knee revealed no structural damage and that Monangai is "believed to be fine."

Just one day after Mike LaFleur said that Jeremiyah Love’s ankle is a “little bit more sore than we were anticipating,” the Cardinals head coach refused to say whether Love had a high ankle sprain per Cardinals beat writer Theo Mackie.

Eight months after tearing his Achilles in the 49ers Wild Card playoff win, George Kittle said he’s nearing a return to practice, per Matt Barrows of The Athletic. Kittle also said he’s “very confident” he’ll be activated from the physically unable to perform list before the regular-season opener. Asked about playing in Week 1, he said, “I have a chance.”

The Athletic's Dan Duggan believes Giants WR Malachi Fields is making a push for the No. 2 WR job following his preseason debut on Saturday. Fields worked in with the first-team offense in that one, running a route on 4 of QB Jaxson Dart's 7 dropbacks. He caught all 3 of his targets for 34 yards, including a 15-yard TD from Dart.

After returning from a pinky injury, Jaylin Noel is now out with a hamstring injury, per Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston. The injury is expected to keep him sidelined for a few weeks.

Ty Simpson showed plenty of promise in his preseason debut, completing 21 of 25 passes for 190 yards and 2 TDs. Afterward, Rams’ head coach Sean McVay praised Simpson’s “good command” of the offense and said he “...did a really good job overall,” per Sarah Barshop of ESPN.
