Tetairoa McMillan Proves He Is Elite Against Buccaneers

WR Tetairoa McMillan went 6-73-1 on 10 targets against the Buccaneers. Jalen Coker was the next highest WR with 5 targets. McMillan matched up against CB Jamel Dean often who had been stout against outside WRs, but McMillan was able to win multiple times one-on-one. As the Panthers march toward the NFC South crown, McMillan has proved himself to be an elite option who can be relied upon for the fantasy championship (and next season).

The Chiefs' Offense Turns to Dust for the Fantasy Playoffs

With QB Patrick Mahomes out for the season after tearing his ACL and WR Rashee Rice missing this week with a concussion, the Chiefs offense struggled against a poor Titans’ defense. QB Gardner Minshew left the game with a knee injury in the second quarter forcing the team to turn to QB Chris Oladokun. The team only scored 6 points* for the remainder of the game.

Both Steelers RBs Pay Off Against the Lions

The Steelers backfield has been a question mark all season with RB Jaylen Warren starting and having the primary rushing role but Kenneth Gainwell’s pass catching and blocking getting him plenty of work. Both paid off for fantasy managers this week. Warren went 14-143-2 on the ground and 2-8-0 through the air on 2 targets. Gainwell went 9-50-0 on the ground and 5-78-1 through the air on 7 targets. Gainwell’s TD came on an incredible catch at the end of the first half.

Broncos WR Troy Franklin tallied a fairly unimpactful 4-66 receiving line in Sunday's loss to the Jaguars. The numbers get even less impressive when you consider that Bo Nix attempted 47 passes in a game his team trailed from the middle of the third quarter on.

Aaron Jones Earns Feature Back Role After Jordan Mason Injury

Vikings RB Aaron Jones logged a season-high 21 carries in Minnesota's 16-13 Week 16 win over the Giants. Jones, who briefly exited the game in the first quarter with a minor ankle injury, also had his highest rushing total (85) and snap count (39) of the 2025 season. No. 2 RB Jordan Mason, who had a 47% snap share and 51% rush share heading into Week 16, was carted off the field in the second quarter with an ankle injury and quickly ruled out. With Mason absent, Jones' expanded workload resulted in him surpassing double-digit fantasy points for the first time since Week 11.

Williams opened the game with a solid 7-33 first-half rushing line (4.7 yards per carry) but garnered just two more attempts after the break. Malik Davis finished the game with eight carries to Williams' nine after trailing him 7-3 at halftime. Gardner Minshew Believed To Have Torn ACL

Minshew is scheduled for an MRI to confirm, but he likely becomes the second straight Chiefs QB to suffer a season-ending knee injury. Kansas City will be down to QB Chris Oladokun the rest of the way. The 28-year-old, 2022 seventh-round pick had not thrown a regular-season pass before going 11-of-16 for 111 yards vs. the Titans today. Meanwhile, NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport said after the game that the team is also evaluating the rookie for a knee injury. We'll keep an eye on his recovery timeline, but Judkins is sure to miss at least a chunk of the offseason program. In his place, Cleveland may ride Raheim Sanders and Trayveon Williams. On Sunday, Sanders held the edge in carries (11-3) with Williams leading the backfield in targets (4-1). But Simon's likely the best bet to lead Arizona LBs in playing time. His return knocks Akeem Davis-Gaither's playing time projection and moves him down our Week 16 LB rankings. Simon has posted modest fantasy numbers across five games of full-time duty.
