Siemian had Grade 5 shoulder separation | Shark Bites | Draft Sharks

What was originally believed to be a Grade 3 shoulder separation for Broncos QB Trevor Siemian turned out to be a Grade 5 injury. When he went under the knife in January, his doctor discovered torn ligaments where the clavicle, scapula and AC joint connect. Siemian was slapped with a 4-6 month recovery timeline but still expects to be ready for the start of OTAs in May. He's slated to compete for the starting job with 2016 first-rounder Paxton Lynch. It's certainly worth noting that Siemian played through the serious shoulder injury for much of this past season after it occurred in Week 4.

Jets HC Adam Gase announced that QB Trevor Siemian needs surgery on the ankle he hurt in Monday night's loss to the Browns and will miss the rest of the season. So the Jets will turn to QB #3, Luke Falk, for as long as Sam Darnold remains out with his mono. Falk completed 20 of 25 passes for 198 yards in relief of Siemian on Monday -- but most of that came with Cleveland playing soft defense with a big lead late in the game. Falk isn't a fantasy option, and you should try to avoid the Jets passing game until Darnold returns.

Jets QB Trevor Siemian suffered a gruesome-looking leg injury in the 2nd quarter of Monday night's game against the Browns. He was surprisingly able to walk off the field but quickly headed back to the locker room with trainers. QB Luke Falk, a 2018 6th-rounder out of Washington State, is next up for the Jets.

The Broncos on Wednesday agreed to send QB Trevor Siemian and a 2018 draft pick to the Vikings for a 2019 pick (both unspecified), according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport. Siemian actually joins Minnesota before Kirk Cousins has officially signed, but Cousins will obviously step into the starting role -- barring some shocking breakdown in negotiations. Siemian, meanwhile, can slide into the backup role he should have occupied all along.

Broncos QB Trevor Siemian will undergo surgery on his left (non-throwing) shoulder this week, according to insider Mike Klis. Siemian had surgery on the same shoulder about a year ago, but this procedure is for a different injury: to repair a damaged posterior capsule. Siemian has 1 year left on his contract with Denver but figures to face much stiffer competition for the starting job this offseason. The Broncos have already been connected to QB Kirk Cousins and also hold the 5th overall pick of this spring's draft.

Broncos insider Mike Klis hears that QB Trevor Siemian has been diagnosed with a dislocated left shoulder that'll cost him the final 2 games of the season. With QB Paxton Lynch still recovering from a high-ankle sprain, it'll likely be Brock Osweiler under center vs. the Redskins and Chiefs to close out Denver's disappointing season.
