Bills WR Kelvin Benjamin (knee) is listed as questionable for Sunday’s game against the Dolphins after a limited week of practice. We’ll find out his status by noon ET, but Benjamin can’t be trusted in fantasy lineups after being unable to make it through last week’s game.

The Giants have signed former WR Kelvin Benjamin as a TE. The 2014 1st-rounder topped 1,000 yards with 9 TDs as a rookie, missed 2015 with a torn ACL and then rebounded for a 63-941-7 line in 2016. But he bounced around to 3 different teams the next 2 seasons, totaling 73 catches and 4 TDs. And he's been out of the league the past 2 years. Benjamin is now 30. He has TE size at 6'5, 245 pounds and would be a catch-first player if he makes it. But Benjamin isn't even a lock to make the Giants' final roster and is a long shot to find meaningful playing time.

The Bills have released WR Kelvin Benjamin. The news sounds bigger than it actually is. Benjamin's playing time has been in decline, and he's totaled just 9 targets over the past 3 games. Zay Jones had already emerged as Buffalo's clear #1 WR. Benjamin turns just 28 in February but has now seen his receiving yardage drop each season since he entered the league. We'll see where he lands.

The Bills' team site reports that WR Kelvin Benjamin has "looked leaner, stronger and most importantly faster" on the field during OTAs compared with last year. We obviously have to keep the source of that report in mind, and no one around here is about to get psyched up for an already-inconsistent WR with A.J. McCarron and/or Josh Allen throwing him passes. But it's worth noting that he seems all the way back from meniscus surgery. And with a WR48 ADP in May MFL10 drafting, Benjamin -- the likely #1 in Buffalo -- is worth at least considering in the double-digit rounds of best-ball drafts. We'll see how his ADP and the Bills offense trend through the summer.

Bills HC Sean McDermott said at the Combine Wednesday that WR Kelvin Benjamin is recovering from surgery. It was presumably on the torn right meniscus he suffered on November 19. Benjamin missed the next 2 weeks and was noticeably slowed the rest of the way. McDermott expects him to be ready for the start of the offseason conditioning program in April.
