Dolphins HC Adam Gase said Monday that WR DeVante Parker (finger) still hasn't been cleared to catch footballs. He's about 2 weeks removed from breaking his right middle finger and has 13 days to get ready for Week 1. Parker seems genuinely questionable to be ready for that one. And even if he is, he'll be impossible to trust in fantasy lineups.
The Dolphins are signing WR DeVante Parker to a new 2-year contract, according to NFL Network's Tom Pelissero. The team had a $9.4 million option on Parker but will presumably be paying him much less on this deal. The 14th overall pick of the 2015 NFL Draft has been a major disappointment through 4 seasons, compiling more missed games (11) than TDs (9). But he's still just 26 with a plus combination of size and athleticism. We'll see if Miami's new coaching staff can turn his career around. Parker should be considered just a late-round flier in early best-ball drafts.
Dolphins WR DeVante Parker is considered "week-to-week" with a sprained AC joint in his shoulder, according to NFL Network's Tom Pelissero. Miami has a Week 11 bye, and we'll see if Parker is ready to return come Week 12. The Fins already sent WR Albert Wilson to IR, and WR Jakeem Grant is dealing with an Achilles injury. Danny Amendola, Kenny Stills and Leonte Carroo are the team's healthy WRs right now.
Dolphins WR DeVante Parker injured his shoulder in the 2nd half of Sunday's game against the Packers and is officially questionable to return. Stay tuned for an update.
Dolphins WR DeVante Parker (quad) is inactive for today’s game against the Bengals. Kenny Stills, Danny Amendola, Albert Wilson and Jakeem Grant will again serve as Miami’s WRs.
Dolphins WR DeVante Parker (quad) was limited in practice all week and is listed as questionable for Sunday’s game against the Bengals. We’ll find out his official status by noon ET on Sunday, but Parker shouldn’t be in your Week 5 fantasy plans.
