The Colts have reached agreement with QB Brian Hoyer on a 3-year deal with $9 million guaranteed, according to multiple reports. Hoyer will back up Jacoby Brissett and could present some upside as a cheap DFS play if the starter goes down.

We imagine the Patriots would like to see 2019 4th-rounder Jarrett Stidham win the starting job, but Hoyer will be around as insurance. New England could also still add a rookie QB to the mix.
