Seahawks RB Rashaad Penny is not expected to play against the Saints today after injuring his hamstring in Friday's practice, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter. Schefter adds that the injury isn't serious, so Penny seemingly has a good shot to be back for Week 4. But his absence today is a nice boost for RB Chris Carson. Penny handled 33% of Seattle's RB carries through 2 weeks. Most of those figure to go to Carson. C.J. Prosise will serve as the Seahawks' #2 RB but isn't a fantasy option.
Seahawks RB Rashaad Penny (hamstring) isn’t listed on the Week 7 injury report. He figures to see a handful of touches behind RB Chris Carson in Sunday’s game against the Ravens but isn’t a realistic fantasy option.
Seahawks RB Rashaad Penny (hamstring) is inactive for today's game against the Browns. C.J. Prosise will step back in as Seattle's #2 RB -- but Chris Carson should be in for another monster workload.
Seahawks RB Rashaad Penny (hamstring) isn't listed on the final Week 5 injury report and will return for Thursday night's game against the Rams. Penny played 30% of Seattle's offensive snaps and averaged 8 carries over the first 2 games of the season. We're expecting him to return to a similar role behind Chris Carson on Thursday.
Seahawks HC Pete Carroll said Monday that he expects RB Rashaad Penny (hamstring) to return for Thursday night's game against the Rams. Penny was listed as a full participant on Monday's practice report -- although Seattle didn't actually practice. We'll see what he's able to do when the team actually does hit the field on Tuesday. Penny will return to a #2 role behind Chris Carson, who bounced back in a big way in Week 4.
