Colts RB Marlon Mack (ankle) is listed as questionable for Sunday night's game against the Chiefs. He sat out Wednesday and Thursday's practices but was a full-go Friday. HC Frank Reich said early in the week that Mack wasn't medically ruled out of last week's game, so we're expecting Mack to play on Sunday night.
Colts RB Marlon Mack (ankle) is active for tonight’s game against the Chiefs. He was reportedly a game-time decision, and NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport reported this morning that the team will “be cautious” with Mack. He’s a risk/reward fantasy play.
Colts RB Marlon Mack's status for tonight's game against the Chiefs will be a game-time decision, and NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reports that the "team will be cautious." That's worrisome for the fantasy outlook on Mack, who missed practice Wednesday and Thursday before returning to a full workout Friday. If you're waiting on him, then you'll need to have Nyheim Hines, Jordan Wilkins or a decent option from the Chiefs or 49ers available as a fallback.
Colts RB Marlon Mack (ankle) missed practice again on Thursday. It's worth noting that he played back in Week 3 despite only getting in a limited practice on Friday with his calf injury. And HC Frank Reich said that Mack wasn't medically ruled out of last week's game. Mack still has a shot to play against the Chiefs on Sunday night, but check back tomorrow for another update.
Colts HC Frank Reich said Monday that RB Marlon Mack wasn't knocked out of Sunday's loss to the Raiders by his ankle injury. It sounds like the Colts just opted for more Nyheim Hines in catch-up mode. That obviously adds game-script risk to Mack going forward. But it at least sounds like he'll be available for Sunday night's game in Kansas City (where game script could be a problem).
