Washington CB Quinton Dunbar (hamstring) and FS Montae Nicholson (ankle) are questionable for Sunday's game against the Eagles. Dunbar missed practice all week with his injury and looks like a poor bet for IDP use even if he plays. Nicholson sustained his injury Friday. We'll see about both players Sunday morning. CB Fabian Moreau (hamstring) is also questionable after limited practices all week. That means 2 of Washington's current top 3 at the position will be at least banged up for the game -- if not out. CB Josh Norman -- recently booted from the starting lineup -- is also questionable with an illness.
Washington on Monday activated DE Montez Sweat from IR. Sweat would have been able to return from his jaw fracture for last week’s game but landed on the COVID list. He’s now clear to play Tuesday against the Eagles. Washington also activated DT Matt Ioannidis from the COVID list Monday, making him eligible to face Philly. Ioannidis’ playing time has increased in recent games
Washington has activated DE Montez Sweat and DT Jonathan Allen — among others — from the COVID list. That likely clears them to face the Eagles on Tuesday. Sweat does still need to be activated from IR, where he spent the past 5 weeks with his jaw fracture
Washington HC Ron Rivera said Monday that he expects DE Montez Sweat (broken jaw) and S Landon Collins (foot) to be cleared to return to practice this week. Sweat has missed the past 4 games with his injury. Collins missed Sunday's win over the Raiders with an injury he suffered late in the previous week's win over Seattle. We'll keep an eye on the statuses of both players through the week, but it seems they'll be back in play for IDP consideration for Sunday's upside matchup with Dallas.
Washington CB Kendall Fuller (knee) is inactive for today's game against Arizona. Jimmy Moreland is expected to start in his place. LB Thomas Davis (calf) is active for the game. We'll see whether his return changes the LB lineup. Jon Bostic and Kevin Pierre-Louis were the full-time LBs in Week 1.
Washington CB Kendall Fuller (knee) and LB Thomas Davis (calf) are questionable for Sunday's game against the Cardinals. It's more likely that neither would be in your IDP plans even if active, but we'll update their statuses Sunday afternoon. Davis' return after he missed Week 1 could complicate Washington's LB picture.
