Rams S Jordan Fuller re-injured his right shoulder late in Sunday's win over Washington. The team announced Tuesday that he's headed to IR. It's not yet clear how soon the Rams expect him to return, but Fuller will miss at least the next 3 games. Taylor Rapp will step back into his spot and is worth picking up in most IDP leagues where you start DBs. Elsewhere on the Rams defense, HC Sean McVay said he hopes to get LB Micah Kiser back for Week 6. That would push Week 5 standout Troy Reeder back to a reserve role. We'll keep an eye on Kiser's participation leading up to Sunday night's clash with the 49ers.
The Rams on Monday designated S Jordan Fuller (shoulder) to return from IR. That gives the team a 3-week window for deciding whether to activate him, but the Rams expect to have him back for Sunday's game against the Seahawks. "The hope is and the plan is for him to be ready to roll this week," HC Sean McVay said, according to the team website. We'll hope to get some indication that Fuller will jump back into his starter role. Short of that, though, we'll assume that's the plan for Fuller, who reclaimed his spot from Taylor Rapp after missing a game with the initial shoulder injury.
Rams S Jordan Fuller (shoulder) is inactive for today’s game against the Giants. That makes S Taylor Rapp a viable IDP replacement.
Rams S Jordan Fuller (shoulder) is questionable for Sunday's game against the Giants. He put in limited practices all week. We'll see about his status Sunday morning.
The Rams believe the shoulder injury that knocked S Jordan Fuller out of Sunday's loss at Buffalo isn't serious. Rams Wire's Cameron DaSilva reports that HC Sean McVay is optimistic Fuller will play against the Giants in Week 4. Fuller's return would likely mean a limited role once again for S Taylor Rapp.
Rams S Jordan Fuller left Sunday's loss to Buffalo in the 1st half with a shoulder injury and did not return. His absence boosted the playing time for S Taylor Rapp, who tied for 2nd on the team with 7 tackles. We'll see about Fuller's outlook for Week 4.
