Patriots RB J.J. Taylor is a healthy scratch for tonight's game vs. the Falcons. He's the odd man out with RB Damien Harris cleared from his concussion. Harris, Rhamondre Stevenson and Brandon Bolden will share backfield work tonight. Here's how we rank them.
Patriots RB J.J. Taylor is a healthy scratch for today's game vs. the Chargers. New England is going back to RB Rhamondre Stevenson alongside RBs Damien Harris and Brandon Bolden.
J.J. Taylor is "vying for a real role" in the Patriots' backfield, according to insider Albert Breer. "Think Dion Lewis/Danny Woodhead," Breer adds. Taylor didn't get any snaps with the 1st-team offense in the preseason opener (Damien Harris got 8, James White 4), so we're not yet ready to consider him an option in fantasy drafts. But we'll keep an eye on his usage over the next few weeks.
