Jaguars TE James O’Shaughnessy (hip) is out for Sunday’s game vs. the Patriots. With TE Dan Arnold (COVID, knee) unlikely to play, Jacksonville is down to TE Kahale Warring.

The Bears signed TEs Ryan Griffin and James O'Shaughnessy to 1-year deals. Combined, they have just 1 NFL season with more than 34 catches (Griffin with 50 back in 2016). Both guys look like just depth behind TE Cole Kmet, but we'll keep an eye on the situation this summer.

The Jaguars will be without TE James O-Shaughnessy (high-ankle sprain) for “several weeks,” per beat writer Mark Long. Rookie Luke Farrell ran 20 routes in Week 2, while veteran Chris Manhertz ran only 11. They combined for 3 targets, 1 catch and 6 yards. Ignore both guys in fantasy leagues.

Update: O'Shaughnessy has been placed on IR, so he's out at least the next 3 weeks.

Jaguars TE James O'Shaughnessy has been diagnosed with a torn ACL and will miss the rest of the season. O'Shaughnessy was quietly averaging 4 targets and 2.8 catches per game. His absence leaves TE Geoff Swaim atop the depth chart, although Jacksonville is expected to get rookie TE Josh Oliver (hamstring) back soon.
