Is Jeff Caldwell Worth Paying Attention To After Landing With Chiefs?
Cincinnati WR Jeff Caldwell signed with the Chiefs as an undrafted free agent. Caldwell’s profile is built on size and athleticism. The 6’5, 216-pounder registered a perfect 10.0 Relative Athletic Score at the Combine, fueled by a 4.31-second 40 time and a 42-inch vertical. That speed showed up in his 14.9 yards per catch last year. Caldwell’s overall production profile is lacking, though. He spent his first four college seasons at FCS Lindenwood, finally breakout out for 1,032 yards and 11 TDs in 2024. Caldwell transferred to Cincinnati this past year and finished third on the team with 478 receiving yards and second with six TDs. His 19.0% dominator rating ranked just 35th among the 49 WRs invited to the Combine. Caldwell boasts a large catch radius, to go along with the size/speed combination. But his catch and route technique need work.
