Cardinals WR Andre Roberts (ankle) is inactive for today's game against the Jets. It'll move rookie WR Michael Floyd into the starting lineup. He's worth monitoring but is just a desperation fantasy option.
The Washington Post reports that Washington has reached a deal with free-agent WR Andre Roberts. (The contract obviously can't be signed before Tuesday at 4 p.m., when free agency officially opens.) The 26-year-old wideout makes plenty of sense here. He can play outside or in the slot and looks like a good bet to start opposite WR Pierre Garcon in 2-WR sets. Roberts posted a career-best 64-759-5 receiving line in 2012 to rank among fantasy football's top 40 WRs across formats. Michael Floyd's emergence marginalized Roberts in 2013, but he could match or exceed those 2012 numbers with QB Robert Griffin this fall.
Cardinals WR Andre Roberts (ankle) is active for today's game against the Seahawks. He only practiced on Friday this week. At less than 100%, Roberts shouldn't be in fantasy lineups for Week 14.
Cardinals WR Andre Roberts (ankle) returned to a limited practice on Friday. He's listed as questionable and looks like a game-time decision for Sunday's tilt against the Seahawks. Even if he plays, though, Roberts shouldn't be in fantasy lineups.
Cardinals WR Andre Roberts (ankle) was unable to practice all week. He's listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Jets. But at less than 100% with Ryan Lindley chucking him passes, Roberts shouldn't be in fantasy lineups.
WR Andre Roberts is listed as a starting WR on the Cardinals' Week 1 depth chart, making him the official winner of the team's battle for the #2 WR job. He had a quiet preseason, catching just 6 balls for 73 yards, and was actually out-performed by Early Doucet. Roberts is the more explosive receiver though, and the Cards want him to run with the job. He makes a nice bench stash.
